Laomei Beach — Attraction in New Taipei

「老梅海灘」是一處坐落於新北市石門區老梅社區濱海一片彎形沙灘，靠近石門一帶前則有自然地景奇觀「老梅綠石槽」，需要留意「不要」踩在石槽上面，讓石槽受傷而無法在同區生長到原本的茂密程度喔！

老梅綠石槽的地質結構由火成岩的火山岩所構成，經過長年海水侵蝕，形成獨特的石槽結構。火山岩表面適合海藻附著生長，海藻不斷生長、死亡和硬化，持續堆疊，形成了層層疊疊的藻礁景觀。

老梅除了綠石槽海岸，附近還有富基漁港、石門洞和北觀風景處等景點。富基漁港是當地著名的海鮮集散地，石門洞則以其天然拱形岩洞著稱。北海岸風景區擁有多條風景優美的步道，是享受海岸線風光的理想地點。

"Laomei Beach" is a curved beach located on the seaside of Laomei Community, Shimen District, New Taipei City. Near Shimen, there is a natural wonder "Laomei Green Stone Groove". You need to be careful not to step on the stone groove. Above, the stone trough is injured and cannot grow to its original lushness in the same area!

The geological structure of the old plum green stone trough is composed of igneous volcanic rocks. After years of seawater erosion, a unique stone trough structure has been formed. The surface of the volcanic rock is suitable for the growth of algae. The algae continue to grow, die and harden, and continue to stack up, forming a layered algal reef landscape.

In addition to the green stone trough coast, there are also nearby attractions such as Fuji Fishing Port, Shimen Cave and Beiguan Scenic Spot. Fuji Fishing Port is a famous local seafood distribution center, while Shimen Cave is famous for its natural arched cave. Beach with strong waves, when we were there 😊. Nice place to have a walk with your family and friends. But there were many drifted woods from the mountains, still enjoyable. There's also a light house near the beach. Be sure to bring water when you decide to have a long around the area especially during summer...

Lovely place. We went on a Saturday afternoon in June and it wasn’t crowded.
