If you are new to Tamsui, do visit when you come to Taipei! I have been here once long ago and re-visit in my recent late Oct trip! The weather was great- thought cloudy but super cooling! The winds were strong hence it was cold. I would recommend this place for people who love scenic place and would like to take a slower pace away from work life. I spend time sitting watching the view, taking photos, strolling and watching some singing street performance. You can even rent bicycles but on foot is ok also. It is a beautiful day, I enjoyed myself very much re-visiting Tamsui river and park🤩😍👍🏻🫶🏻

The Tamsui Riverside is located behind Tamsui Old Street and it is a major attraction offering a dynamic atmosphere—lively during peak times and peaceful during quieter hours. Visitors can enjoy souvenir shops, massage parlors, local eateries, a scenic park with gravel paths, and boat rides to Guanyin Mountain (Bali) or Fisherman’s Wharf.

Kalau aku bilang tamsui riverside park ini rasa sinabung laut kawar hahahaha.....Sekeren itu loh gaes piknik disini. Keluar dari Mrt tamsui uda dpt tempat ini. Ada night market nya juga dgn harga yang lbh murah dan juga banyak kuliner disini yang semua nya itu jamin enak2. Ayam goreng nya disini yang terkenal jgn lupa coba in ya. Karena area ini letaknya pas di pinggir sungai udah mau kelaut lepas nya jd selalu panas klo kamu dtg diatas jam 10 pagi so jgn lupa payungnya ya. Trs kamu harus ke gereja nya ya utk foto2 sebab keren cuy. Tamsui old street nya juga jgn lupa ya susuri berasa kamu lagi ada dijaman kolosal 🤭. Bagi yang lg jomblo bole singgah ke kelentang nya utk narik jarum tengok jodohnya msh jauh atau lg otw 🤣. So kamu disini tu pokok nya puas lah berleha-leha utk sekedar santai

Kalau aku bilang tamsui riverside park ini rasa sinabung laut kawar hahahaha.....Sekeren itu loh gaes piknik disini. Keluar dari Mrt tamsui uda dpt tempat ini. Ada night market nya juga dgn harga yang lbh murah dan juga banyak kuliner disini yang semua nya itu jamin enak2. Ayam goreng nya disini yang terkenal jgn lupa coba in ya. Last time I was in Taipei I enjoyed running along this pathway, this time I’m able to cycle along it. The path is great for walking, cycling, jogging.

It’s pretty expansive and has bridges that can connect you to the other side of the Tamsui river. Some parts of the cycle path are along the adjacent main roads, which can lead to smoggy smells, but a lot of it...
