霧峰菇類產學館 Wufeng Mushroom Museum — Attraction in Taichung

Great chance to learn more about mushrooms, I am a big fan! I talked to the staff, showing him a few pictures from my hikes ~ he very quickly identified the mushrooms i saw in the wild. He also showed me some cockroachs infected by fungi. Thank you 😊 Small museum, maybe 1-2 hours needed unless you are like me trying to translate everything haha. It's only really accessible to people who know Mandarin. There are QR codes to scan which translate the texts into English/ Japanese but it gets tiring after a few. Staff are nice though. It's not a big museum either and there are a lot of kids/ workshops for them. I don't think it's worth TW$100/ ticket while the 921 Earthquake Museum only costs half that, way...
