We made it a priority to stop by during our one night in Tainan and were not disappointed. This outdoor, open air market is full of street food vendors lined up in aisles, along with areas for children's games.
The food options here really stood out. As a vegan, I was surprised at how much more I could find here than other night markets. I had some incredible fried stinky tofu as well as some famous sweet potato bites, and watching the mastermind's behind these prepare the food was such a treat. There were also plenty of drinks to be had such as fruit juices to wash everything down. Some vendors will have dedicated seating areas for you if you purchase their food.
For vegans, look out for vegetarian items and ask to make sure there are no eggs or dairy in your items.
