日治時期桃園縣有三大神社，大溪神社是其中最早的神社，霧社事件後，日本人為加速皇民化運動，在昭和七年（民國２１年）舉行大溪神社安座儀式，神社位階原本是鄉社，隸屬於國幣小社的新竹神社下，並受日本宮內廳登記與管轄。光復初期後反日情結高漲，神社被破壞，拜殿和主殿拆除，改建成超然亭，亭子基座就是正殿礎石。目前整個大溪神社遺址就剩下石頭基盤。亭子前...

台湾出張の時の週末に来ました。石塔などが保存整備されて神社の面影があります。拝殿跡は展望台に変わっています。かつて奉納された石塔の残骸に「奉納　大渓神社」や「昭和七年十月建立」などの文字が読みとれます。狛犬の台座には「奉納　大渓　加藤仁作」の文字があります。

歷史痕跡 雖然沒很多人注意到 但依然還在這訴說過去 觀賞樓上風景很美尤其太陽落下時 ------------------------------- 大溪神社建於日治的昭和7年（1932年），比桃園、中壢還早，堪稱桃園三大神社之首，但跟台灣多數地方的神社一樣，大溪神社的建築屢遭破壞、幾已毀損，拜殿和主殿拆除後，改建成超然亭，而超然亭的基座是昔日神社正殿的礎石及部分遺跡，散落在大溪中正公園內。 涼亭是鋼筋水泥的建築，基座卻是鵝卵石堆砌的大平台 此基石正是昔日神社正殿的礎石，是神社重要殘餘建物 前面左右側各有一座石獅子，左為雄石獅子，右為母子石獅子
