First of all the whole experience of setting up a safari with Eddy Tours and Safaris for our family of 4 was simple, well communicated and easy. No surprise costs. Nothing lacking from our tailor made itinerary agreed upon but lots of fun added extra touches along the way that really made this experience stand out.

This being our first time in Tanzania we trusted their opinion on what to do and where to go. They are experts in their field and we were matched up with Gerald our guide who was absolutely wonderful. Not only did he get us to the best spots to see animals (all of the Big 5 included), watch lions hunt and see the great migration not once but 3 times in 24 hours, but be taught us so much about the land and culture of this region. Even the teenagers thought he was cool! We loved listening to his stories about whatever questions we had all day long. The days flew by! The best thing at the end was the feeling we had made a family friend.

So if Gerald is available book him if you want a great vacation tailored to what you want to see. He really took the time to show us what we were interested in, not just driving around to check off boxes. He was respectful of the animals allowing us to get the most authentic viewing possible. We even had a lioness with her 6 cubs sit down right next to our Landcrusier we were so non-obtrusive. He was passionate about telling us facts about all the animals we were viewing while being proactive on taking care of the land. Pack in/pack out and leave no trace were principals important for our trip.

In addition to the great animal viewing experience the lodgings Eddy Tours and Safaris set up for us were top notch. The food was excellent (we have a picky eater son so I was worried) and no one ever went hungry. The safety of the camps was outstanding and we never felt like we were bothered even though at times wildlife was close by which was an amazing experience. Extra touches included 2 of our nightly stays singing in Swahili Happy Anniversary to us (the reason for our Bucket list trip) complete with dancing and merriment, a picnic out in the Serengeti 😳 one of the highlights I had no idea we would experience and the warm welcome we received at each property. All of the properties chosen for us made us feel right at home!

Overall this was a great family trip to plan our safari. Tanzania is a wonderful and safe place to visit to see the animals and enjoy this beautiful landscape. A DREAM COME TRUE!!! We just came from one of the top experiences of our life. It feels like words are not enough to describe the absolutely amazing experience we had. We had high expectations to begin with, but even such high expectations were exceeded by EDDY TOURS AND SAFARIS The organization of the safari was smooth, and you could see that everybody is professional and working to give you a top experience. We started off the first day by seeing lots of animals, something we did not even expect. Our guide, Amir, is super knowledgeable and experienced, and also has insanely good driving skills. He explained so many things to us, about the geography, the animals, the flora, the culture and conditions of the park, that gave us context and created a more complex safari experience. He did his absolute best to give us amazing views, and take us close to see all animals, while also ensuring we are safe and comfortable at all times. We managed to see all the big 5, plus many MANY more. From large numbers of zebras, to prides of lions and flamingoes on the shores of lakes, we did see them all. Amir has incredible eyesight, and made sure we experienced the best. We had the most amazing lunches, honestly the food was delicious. Hats off to our chef, thank you for feeding us such tasty food, we'll definitely remember the freshly cooked meals! The parks are so beautiful, your jaw drops at every corner, you're never bored. We got to experience unique things, from a live hunt to seeing up close the most impressive of animals. The lodges we stayed at were absolutely top notch, super clean, beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were professional and ready to help you with anything and ensure you are safe and comfortable at all times. Not to mention that we were well fed for all our meals, and the staff accomodated our needs :) Extra thanks to Daniel for being knowledgeable and helping us organise other experiences, Glory for replying to all of my questions with patience, our drivers from the airport and from Arusha to the start of the safari for smooth driving. We were 7 pax from India and booked our Tanzania Safari trip for 8 Days with Eddy Tours and Safaris based on the TA ranking. And it all proved right. Eddy Tours and Safaris were very professional with Owners themselves involved in day to day communications. Sayyedah, Director, responded to all our mails & helped us to plan the most amazing safari. Musaddiq, Director gave us a warm welcome & briefed about our trip & both of them made sure we were comfortable through out our safari which started in Tarangire, then Manyara, then Central Serengeti, then Northern Serengeti and finally ending in Ngorongoro. Herman was our guide and driver and he is not only good in wildlife sightings, but also respects the regulations of the park. We were lucky to see about 32 Lions, 10 Cheetah, 3 Leopards, 2 sightings of Aardwolf, Bat eared Fox, Serval cat are some thing rare to see. We also saw lot of elephants, antelopes, Wildebeest, Giraffes & Zebras & more interesting Birds. We were also lucky to see Mara crossing by a huge herd of wildebeests for which we have to Thank Herman who's patience paid off. Had some intresting moments with the Tsetse Flies. We loved the Lamai triangle for its stunning natural beauty. Earlier we have been to Kruger but Serengeti is the best place in the earth for wildlife and landscape. Now we are among the elite few who witnessed the Mara River Crossing.
