A very impressive water park. Despite the initial difficulties in getting setup for swimming, I really recommend it. I bought tickets in advance on Klook. When we arrived at 12:00 on a public holiday there was a very long line to buy tickets. There was a dedicated lane for people who had bought tickets in advance and there was only one party ahead of us. So entry itself was very quick and very smooth. There was a lack of English explanation however and while I absolutely understand and don’t expect the staff to communicate the rules in English, I think having something written would be helpful. I’d read reviews that mentioned the wrist band so I was prepared to load money to make purchases etc. but what I didn’t know was that you also have to rent a locker key via the wristband. I was thinking about what’s normal for me and I was expecting to physically put money in the locker! So I went to the locker room only to find every single locker in use. I was really confused. After a bit of back and forth, I realized that lots of lockers were actually available, you just had to use the wristband to pay for the key! So my first step should have been to load money onto my wrist band, line up and rent however many lockers, get the locker keys, go to the locker room and get changed, store my items and then rent a ring etc. It really would have saved some time and stress if I’d known about this procedure first! I noticed that lots of families had secured lounges and kept their belongings outside with someone sitting with them. So, to summarize: before doing anything at all, go and load money onto your wrist band! Rent a locker key, get changed and then rent the yellow tubes! As our child was below 120cm tall they couldn’t ride the slides that required a ring. However, they weren’t disappointed. The children’s play area was excellent! There was a slide shaped like a whale, a matching pair of slides, a play zone with a tipping bucket and slides as well as a fountain tunnel. The lifeguards were really attentive. The play zone and whale slide are only for children shorter than 120cm. The other two slides can be used by anyone. One lifeguard was really, really on the ball when it came to policing access to the whale slide and play zone. Seriously. Anytime an adult tried to slide or climb, he blew the whistle and stopped them. Anytime an older child tried, they got the whistle. I thought it was really, really good. For parents with a small child it meant they could play and get around safely, especially with the larger slides being off limits to them. I did notice that when there was a shift change the next lifeguard didn’t care at all who was using them, though. The lazy river was a lot of fun. There’s quite a lot of power to it. It’s not super deep so it’s fun for everyone. The view is lovely, too. At around 15:00 we decided to rent a yellow tube to float around on in the lazy river but the line was massive and there were only three tubes left. So we didn’t bother but we really didn’t need it, so it wasn’t a big deal. There’s a few smaller pools to explore and also a deep one, perfect for actually swimming. There are two more slides away from the children’s zone that anyone can ride regardless of height. The orange/pink stripe one really packed a punch! The food was really well priced. Very reasonable! And the popcorn portion was absolutely massive. Definitely value for money. Water wasn’t expensive. When we left the process was easy though the line to return rental items was quite long. When we left the water park itself the line to get our remaining balance back from the bands looked very intimidating. It was so long but it moved very fast. The gift shop was a little disappointing, we intended to buy something as a souvenir but there wasn’t anything our child wanted - and that’s saying something because kids want everything they see usually! A very fun waterpark and great for kids. It’s a little old and rusty and needs some repairs here and there but despite that, I’d love to go again. It really was a fun day!

This was one of the best waterparks I’ve *ever* been to. This was mainly due the simplicity of the park and how it can affect one’s experience. While entrance was a bit complicated, with it being indoors (the park is outdoors). The location of the aqua park is additionally convenient; located in a terrefic, vast mall, this park could entertain one for an entire day. For example, after visiting the park, one could have a refreshment at Krispy Kreme in the connected mall. Adding onto this, the atmosphere of the park was great! I believe that this was the case due to how the crowd was lively - nothing ‘bad’ happened to me during my experience there. Despite the relatively small number of notable slides (4), I was still able to spend around 2 hours there feeling impressed and entertained. Two notable slides were the Speedway (green-blue slide), which had a pool in the middle of it, being seperated into two parts, and the funnel slide, which bounced us up and down around the wall before pushing us into a pool. To enter, you purchase a green wristband, which you then put money in and use it to pay for things. This impressed me due to how it removes any need to carry your wallet around. Lockers can be bought in two sizes, too, which is where I kept my things in. You should also rent a float to carry around for two of the slides (blue one and blue-green one). Some slides require no float (yellow one), and some require you to get a new one for free down by the stairs to the slides (purple-yellow funnel one). The convenience, again, exceeded my expectations; instead of climing stairs for each slide, which at some places can be far apart, each of them were under a single staircase and all in one spot, just ending in different ones. The hygiene of the park wasn’t so great, to be honest. The toilets were pretty brown and rusty. In addition, the showers were pretty unclean in my opinion. However, the water of the pools definitely met my standards in terms of cleanliness. The prices were also quite cheap, in my opinion. However, buying bundles or tickets in advance (online, eg: on Klook) can help you save a few hundred baht, depending on how big your group to go to the park is. Also, the park had a big kids area, with many pools and a water playground; perfect to entertaing little ones when going on adult slides (adults classified as >120 centimeters). However, if you’re wanting to come to Thailand in general and don’t know where to go but want to go to waterparks/beaches, I’d recommend going to Phuket. Phuket is a city with loads of waterparks probably bigger/better than this one. Also, the city has beaches unlike Bangkok. Additionally, one should aim to come on a weekday in order to lessen any waiting time - the slides had almost no lines. Overall, this park was extremely up to my high standards, and if you’re in Bangkok, definitely come here!

Pororo Park is relatively small but sufficient for a fun day out. The compact size means you don’t have to walk much, which is great. The place offers a variety of attractions, including fun slides, a kids’ area, a lazy river, a massaging pool, a large deep pool for adults, and a chill waiting corner. The maintenance seems decent, with many lifeguards on duty, clean lockers, and tidy restrooms. The food available is also quite tasty. Overall, I had a good time there. ✅ Positives: • Compact size, so no excessive walking. Not super busy, no wait line at all (during weekdays) • Variety of pools and attractions. • Clean and well-maintained facilities. You can go in totally unprepared and rent everything there • Plenty of lifeguards ensuring safety. 🫥 Negatives: • Access to all slides requires an extra fee. The basic ticket includes only four slides (two short and two long), and one was closed for maintenance during my visit. • To access two additional slides, you need to rent a tube for 60 baht. • Some slides included in the ticket are enough for casual fun, but the additional cost might feel restrictive. 🥲 Bad Experience: Unfortunately, the staff didn’t properly supervise slide directions, and both my friend and I accidentally went headfirst down a slide, resulting in us banging our heads. It was quite painful and significantly dampened the experience. Still recommend this place. You just have to be extra careful down the slides.

At the time of this review, Pororo’s website was down. Not sure if it has been retired on purpose. This water park looks like it has been scaled down. It definitely has seen better days. Normal wear and tear were obvious. In terms of maintenance, I think they are doing their best. The changing room and shower stalls were clean. They need visitor numbers to make a profit and to maintain the park. The number of visitors were low when I was there. And this was the reason why I liked it. It was not crowded and kids could get on the water slides without queuing. The number of ride was limited but kids will still have a good time there. This is not a water park for those seeking thrills, but for family with young kids, this is a good place to spend a few hours especially on a hot and humid day. Some people complained about needing to pay for rental of tubes and they only accept credits from the RFID tag. This is pretty common in this part of the world especially since entrance ticket is so cheap. Maybe stay home if you are not used to how things are run in other countries? It gives people the option of renting what they need instead of forcing everything into the entrance ticket price. There were notices at the ticketing booth. People just need to learn to read. Top up your RFID tag before heading in. 1000 baht is more than sufficient for locker, towel and tube rental with some refunds at the end of the day. If you go with low expectations, you will enjoy it. If you are after something more exhilarating,...
