Go Bee Fishing Park — Attraction in Chiang Mai Province

Great fishing park run by great people. Excellent value. You will have a great time here and catch lots of big fish. The owners are very friendly and speak very good English. The lady who takes you fishing is a superstar and does all the hard work for you. She spends most of time in the water pulling out the huge fish you catch 😄. She will also cook you a great Thai meal at lunch in-between being your guide, coach, photographer and all around helper (Thai woman are amazing!). You need to book in advance because the owners want people to have the best experience. Just call - they both speak English. If nobody books for the day then they will feed the fish in the morning and tell latecomers to book for the next day because the fish won't be much fun to catch for the rest of the day if their bellies are full 😄. Honest review, its only 1 pond, only Chao Phraya Catfish, some small tilapia and if youre lucky, Carp. Price rather expensive 1,800 baht for a full day session. the price includes the lovely guide who will teach you everything and help you net the giants. and includes couple of can drinks and fried rice.

So, high price for just 1 large species, not worth it. and the biggest downside is, you are not allowed to net the fish up to land for pictures. You have to go down into the water, which i did not like, getting wet, and taking off clothes for some pictures. Doesnt look so good on ig.

Good fun, catch massive catfish! It's recommended to book ahead, I turned up on the day without a booking and was fortunate enough to be accommodated. It cost me 1000Baht for 2 hours (everything included). Bring a change of clothes if you plan on getting in the water to take a picture with your river monster!
