Tthis beach is patrolled and maintained by Thailand's military which means it is clean and safe.
Unlike the filthy health-hazard beaches in Pattaya. especially Bang Saen beach which is little more than an open sewer outlet. this beach is also totally devoid of aggressive and annoying beach sellers and food outlet promoters who just will not leave u alone!
No..Nam Sai beach offers clean safe beach fun and clean clear water. The beach sloped gently meaning you can walk out safely for a long way. There are shops to rent deck chairs but its not pushed and. also one can buy the usual beach toys and rings for the kids.
Plenty of free parking and a shuttle but between car and beach adds further enjoyment. There are toilets and showers, both clean and usable for a 5thb charge. Food is also available to purchase or...bring tour own!
A thoroughly excellent experience. Thai government...please hand over the Pattaya beaches to the navy and clamp down on the short term profit mafia hotels and food outlets who discharge untreated sewage into the Pattaya bay or this attraction will be ruined for ever!
until then...give Bang Saen a total miss and instead head to Nam...
Read moreNice clean water beach, I drove here on my own and was allowed in by the Navy, there is no car park for visitors directly on the beach, there is an allocated car park where you have to park there then buy a 15baht ticket for a return shuttle service to and from the beach, I am not sure if we are allowed to walk or it is compulsory, the shuttle pickup truck will drop us right next to the food shops where there are a variety of foods. It is a school holiday Tuesday and it is rather pack here but luckily I can still find a place to sit and relax, if you want a lazy chair or something to sit on, there is an army stall right next to the frog cafe on the beach where u can rent it for reasonable price. I have a nice afternoon here hope you like it too, and hope everyone keep this place clean and beautiful.
I left just about 5pm and I saw the army open up the road block that instructed me to park the car, so I guess after 5pm you can drink directly to the beach and park near the cafe and toilet. The toilet is 5...
Read moreIt was my 2nd time visiting Nam Sai Beach. I was mesmerized by this beach and wanted to go again with my family. However, to my surprise, when we entered the premises and went to pay fare for the bus, the staff said that foreigners are not allowed to go in the beach. We tried to convince him as it was our 2nd time there but it was in vain. I do respect the rules and regualations so we returned without causing much hassle for the staff there but if you insist foreigners should understand the rules, make sure to write it in english language so foreigners can read it properly without the need to have it translated. Also, it was disappointing as you let us enter the main entrance and stopped us while paying bus fare. Write the rules at the main entrance in english language. It would be convenient for the employees over there and...
