This was my first time visiting after seeing so many photos and videos online. I found out it’s managed by the Navy Club, which is interesting—it’s nice to see them adapting to business, providing jobs for locals. As for the food, it was average—not bad, but nothing particularly special that you couldn’t find elsewhere. Prices are moderate to high (I ordered four dishes and two smoothies, which came to about THB 1200). I visited on a weekday, which was a good choice, as it was less crowded. I imagine weekends are much busier because the view is beautiful and very Instagrammable. One tip: if you’re using Google Maps to get there, once you’re near in the military area, keep going straight toward the “headquarters” sign and exit another gate. Don't turn right toward “Nam Sai Beach" otherwise you have to make a u-turn....

• Palyn is a hidden but not hidden gem in Samaesarn. It’s technically hidden because it’s located within a military zone — but don’t worry, everyone can enter freely, and the restaurant is actually very popular among locals and tourists alike.

• The seaside view is truly breathtaking. You can clearly see 3–4 islands from the restaurant’s terrace, making it an ideal place for both relaxing and taking photos. It’s especially photogenic during golden hour.

• The food is okay, but the drinks are the highlight — refreshing and beautifully presented.

• Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the Sattahip/Samaesarn area and looking for a chill cafe with great views.

• May 2025, the location on Google map is still not accurate, you need to drive 500m away from the...

PALYN Cafe is a charming seaside spot located in Chonburi province, with an entrance shared with Samaesarn ferry. Nestled within the Sattahip navy area, the cafe offers a beautiful view of the nearby island and the blue sea, making it an ideal place for relaxing. The atmosphere is serene and refreshing, perfect for unwinding with friends or family. The seating is mostly outdoors, allowing to enjoy the sea breeze, with cozy tables spread across the beachfront.

Their beverage menu is diverse, offering something for everyone, including coffee, tea, and smoothies. In addition, they serve a range of food items, from brunch options to fusion dishes, perfect for sharing with friends. Don’t worry about parking, there’s plenty of...
