Ramkamhaeng Night Market was definitely a big highlight of our trip to Bangkok! Nestled on the outskirts of Bangkok (it felt like it at least), we reached the market after a 30-ish minute ride on the Khong Saen Saep boat service from Pratunam. Getting here might be a hassle, but it is well worth it!

Bangkok night markets are getting increasingly touristy and are adapted for tourists. However, this market is one of the few in Bangkok that accommodates mostly to locals, with little to no tourists. The food was of great variety, low prices and most importantly, AMAZING! 90% of the food seemed to be Halal making this a great option for Muslim tourists who want to dabble in Thailand night markets.

The market also sold other items like clothing as well.

The only issue might be getting a grab or bolt from the market as the pick up points are rather vague, but the easiest would be to book it from Gate 4 of Rajamangala stadium on Grab which is located near the entrance of the market.

Will definitely visit the market when I’m...

I stayed in Hua Mak area for a few days And i discovered this night market on google map, it's around 30-40mins walk I can barely see any tourists here. Surrounding by locals, and the food prices are relatively cheaper than the night markets which are offered to tourists. Like sushi, it cost 5baht per one. And small mango sticky rice only 25baht per one. The prices are incredibly remarkable! As a friendly reminder, there is a grass floor, many of the locals would sit and eat there with their fds. If you would wish to be feel like a local, you can bring your only carpet and eat on the floor as well. This night market is one of the favourite places here. Highly recommend if you wanna go some place with local vibes:)
