I recently ordered a complete kitchenette from IKEA for installation last week. While the delivery was prompt, the installation process initially faced some challenges. Despite prior communication with the head office via the Line application, there appeared to be a miscommunication between the head office and the installation team, which caused some difficulties at the start.
Fortunately, Niko, the branch manager at IKEA, stepped in and took full control of the situation. From that point onward, the installation, communication and execution were handled smoothly. An important requirement for us was to have the kitchen cabinet installed with the sink on the left side—this was the main reason we chose the in-store installation service, as we preferred not to cut into the wooden countertop ourselves.
Unfortunately, this detail was not on record with either the head office or the installation team.
Niko’s leadership ensured that everything was resolved successfully. His commitment to customer satisfaction reflected very positively on IKEA and turned the experience into a positive outcome overall.
Thank you, Niko, for your support and professionalism. I look forward to returning in January 2026 to order three more...
Read moreI was actually surprised to find an IKEA in Phuket! It’s the perfect size—not too big, not too small—and it’s really relaxing to walk around inside. Somehow, walking through IKEA feels so healing, especially when you’re feeling stressed or down. Just seeing how they arrange and design their furniture so neatly and creatively is really inspiring.
The prices are also quite affordable, and the quality is good. It’s not just about furniture either—they also have a café where you can grab some food or a drink, which makes the whole visit even more enjoyable. You can get both home inspiration and a little refreshment at the same time.
The only downside for me is the parking. It feels a bit complicated because you have to drive around the back and then loop around to the front to find the parking lot. The first time I went, I actually got lost. It would be really helpful if there were clearer signs or staff guiding customers to the right area instead of leaving everyone to figure it out on their own. But other than that, I really liked...
Read moreWe’ve ordered and paid upfront all expenses of a office desk. Just moved into a new house and ordered from index and other stores as well. ONLY ikea has the audacity to ask for more money to deliver the furniture afterwards. They called us but we where simply busy to pick up the phone at this specific moment. They didn’t even come to our house because we where all day there renovating. All other delivery services come just by and do their job. No can someone explain me why I need to pay 300 baht more for a new delivery date but they didn’t even came by ???… so all they lost was a 1 minute attempt to call us. That was the very last time ikea phuket will see any money from us or our friends. Index is anyway much better in design and service as they will ever be. In Europe ikea wouldn’t treat customers like that. Never had a problem there. Maybe they need a new management in phuket. Beware of their...
