Went with my daughter and 2 nieces to see a Chinese performing arts show similar to cirque du soleil. The main seating arrangement was terrible. It was created using wooden platforms. Each platform was raised only 5-6 inches and contained 3 rows of folding chairs as each tier elevated from stage level to back of the arena floor. Anyone sitting in the 2nd and 3rd row of each tier had a great view of the back of the persons head sitting in front of them.
The sound system sounded like it was an old blown out speaker set, and the 2 live video monitors showed little detail as the spotlighted image of the performers was blown out (over exposed) - poor video capture settings.
The stadium seating around the edges was mostly (about 99%) unoccupied, so during the intermission, many people chose to move from the floor to the stadium seats for some higher elevation and better view. The most cost-effective way to get there imho: Go to BTS Morchit and get out at Exit 4. Take the 35 baht shuttle van to IMPACT Muangthong Thani. Allocate plenty of buffer time for traffic jams on the highway. Walk from the main IMPACT halls to Thunder Dome. It’s around a 10 minute walk.
Bonus: After concerts, they tend to station vans that bring concertgoers to BTS Victory Monument outside. Traffic was really smooth at 11.30PM so we got there in about 30 minutes. A seat costs 35 baht if I don’t remember wrongly.
Watching The Killers here was a highlight of my stay in Bangkok but the acoustics wasn’t great here - it was just that The Killers...

Travel: I came from Ratchathewi, so it's an hour train ride. It was easy to get here. When you reach the last station, you have to walk a for around 10-15 minutes to reach the dome.
Sittings: I was in the standing pan, so we were quite close to the stage. For this concert, they extended the stage to the middle of the dome. You can get clear view if you're tall. I suggest taking seats because it's quite close to the stage.
I suggest you to bring pocket fan, it can be...
