We booked a combination trip of zip lining & ATV. It was pouring with rain but the staff showed zero concern about it. We had to ask if it would be possible to zip line in these conditions. The second part of our excursion was a 1 hour ATV drive however, on a wet downward road the breaks failed & due to lack of control of the vehicle veered off the road into a ditch causing serious injuries & hours in a hospital. The ATV staff showed very little concern but offered tissue to try stem the blood & an ice pack. We were ushered into a car with who we though were apart of the company but later found out he was just a local helpful citizen. The AVT company need to take responsibility for their failed safety checks. They should have the decency to refund the trip, cover the medical fees & cab fees back to the hotel. As a regular ATV driver never has anything like this happened before. I recommend if anyone is thinking of doing a combined trip like this you do it with another company & question the safety of the vehicle/equipment. Also the way the elephants are chained up...
Read moreWhen in Phuket you must enroll at Skyline for an adventurous day. We took the SKYLINE ADVENTURE PHUKET B package which was 2250 baht per person.. Our 2 guides informed us about the dos & donts, put up our harnesses, gave us a locker to keep our bags and other items as we were allowed to carry only phones for clicking pictures and videos and a bottle of water provided by them. Our guides made the trekking lively by cracking jokes, making easy conversations and clicking our photos. you zip-line so fast from one point to another that it gets all charged up and wanting for more, it was thrilling, quick, energetic to get going. at the end of the adventure they help you remove the harness, hand each one a T-shirt and serve you fresh fruit like watermelon , water ,they then serve you food that is cooked in a simple way and yet so delicious. They also sell you photographs which they captured with a frame for 200 baht. But all in all, I want to thank all the staff members, our 2 guides for making our adventure a...
Read moreI am leaving this review in hopes that Skyline Adventures will unchain their elephants and give them the freedom and care they deserve. As you drive by their location in Phuket, you see an elephant chained up right next to the highway, confined to a small patch of dirt with barely 20 feet of space to move. It’s heartbreaking and disturbing to witness.
Elephants are majestic creatures meant to roam vast areas of jungle and forest, not be tied up as roadside attractions. This kind of treatment is outdated, inhumane, and simply wrong. I urge Skyline Adventures to relocate this elephant to a proper sanctuary where it can live safely and freely.
Until they make this change, I cannot support this business. Tourists and locals alike should be aware of how these animals are...
