Save for when you visit 🇹🇭 Thailand! 👇 After spending a month in Thailand, I can confirm it’s one of our favorite countries and one we will return back to again & again! Here’s a few highlights of each location: 🌴 Phuket: rent a scooter to explore the island! Should cost around $8 USD/day ☀️ Kata Noi Beach, Bang Tao Beach, Karon Viewpoint, Old Phuket Town Scooter 🌆 Bangkok: I like staying in the riverfront area & walking/taking the metro! 🚶♀️ Wat Arun, Wat Pho, ALLLLL the street food, Grand Palace, Thipsamai (famous pad Thai) ⛰ Chiang Mai: stay inside the old city walls & walk or take songthaew’s around 🛻 blind massage, street food, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Doi Suthep 🥥 Koh Lanta: we stayed on the north side of the island, get a scooter to explore! 🛵 Mu Ko Lanta National Park, Bamboo Beach, Nui Bay, Why Not Bar, snorkel tour of Ko Haa 🐘 Khao Sok National Park: we stayed at Smileys Bungalows that float on the lake and it included all food & activities! HIGHLY recommend! #thailand #thailandtravel #thailandtrip #bangkok #chiangmai #kohlanta #khaosok #phuket #thailand🇹🇭

Phuket isn’t the most favorable place in Thailand because it has gained fame primarily as a party destination. But let me tell you, as long as you avoid the famous Bangla Road, you’re going to love this island. There are so many beautiful places to visit, and here’s my list: - Visit Old Phuket Town - Book a tour and do island hopping to places like Phi Phi Islands, James Bond Island, and Similan Islands. - Visit an Elephant Sanctuary - Have breakfast at A Blanket & A Pillow - Explore Night Markets - Watch sunset at Explore Night Markets - Swim at Freedom Beach - Visit Big Buddha - Spend day at the beach club Café Del Mar - Have dinner at Three Monkeys Restaurant - Admire the view at Karon Viewpoint #phuket #phuket #londonblogger #uktravelblogger #travel #oldtownphuket #phukettrip #phuketoldtown #phuketholiday #phukettown #thingstodoinphuket #phukettravel #thailandtravelinsider #thailandonly #travellingthailand #thailand #travelguide #travelguide #travelgirlsgo What to do in Phuket

In January 2023, my family and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Karon Viewpoint, one of Phuket's most popular attractions. Positioned between Nai Harn and Kata Noi beaches, this viewpoint offered us a panoramic view of the magnificent Andaman Sea and Phuket's breathtaking west coast beaches, including Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon. The viewpoint, also known as the Three Beaches Hill, provided us with an unobstructed 8-km vista, which is, without a doubt, one of the most photographed images in Phuket. The enchanting combination of the sparkling blue sea, pristine white-sand beaches, the exotic nearby island of Koh Pu, and the lush green hillsides of Phuket created a captivating landscape that left us in awe. Despite its popularity and frequent crowds, we found the viewpoint well facilitated. There was ample parking space, and even when it got a bit crowded, people conveniently parked on the roadside. We appreciated the presence of several drinks and snack stands and a large gazebo providing shade, making our visit comfortable and relaxing. Located a short 10-minute drive from both Kata Beach and Nai Harn Beach, Karon Viewpoint is a must-visit for its iconic and stunning vistas. This captivating viewpoint truly encapsulates the beauty and charm of Phuket. We highly recommend it to all future visitors to the island.

If you're staying Phuket, this is a must-see. Karon View point is the best view point on Phuket Island. One of the most picturesque areas on the island. You lose track of time while enjoying the breeze and the view and Sunset views are spectacular here. It was a hot day and it is recommended to carry your own umbrella, hats, sunglasses, water etc. for this tour. Early morning and evening are the best times. The view from the viewpoint is breath taking. There is also a stall at the entrance where one can take a pic with the Eagle or buy some hand made souvenirs. We took a half day Phuket guide tour directly from one of the Tour operators in Patong beach area (There are 100s of such Tour agency everywhere in Phuket and around all the beaches ). The Tour included visits to Big Buddha, Wat Chalong temple, Karon view point, The Promthape Cape, Pic with baby Elephant, cashew factory, coffee and Old Phuket town walk all for a BARGAINED price of 500 Baht per person. The tour started at 10.30 and we were dropped back to hotel at 6pm.

Generally as observed back here, view points are tourist spots with word of mouth publicity and known among the travel community. But never saw them with official recognition as is Karon view point with proper identification and basic facility for public use available. And its rightly fan fared with really beautiful astonishing views and all 3 beach archs visible in sequence Kata, Karon and Kata-Noi(rather I also liked the Aum design formed out here quite nicely. Also do look around on your top-right to notice the Bug Buddha visible from this point). I really liked the place and the scenery and would really recommend visiting it before you go and relax on any of these beaches, the uber level beauty observed stays in your mind adding to the enjoyment factor while at beach :)

once you arrive at the top ,you actually forget the long drive uphill that you just experienced lol, its hot and humid so dont forget the sun block ,water and hat. all i can say is the my breath was taken away with the beautiful picturesque view from the top. taking pictures with the phone doesn't even capture it good enough ..i will definitely be getting a decent photography camera to capture the next moments....there was once turn off though is the bathroom facilities they were smelling abit bad in that heat.that need to be fixed as many tourist go there on a daily basis. ..so ladies take tissue aswell just incase you need it.
