The views from here are absolutely amazing. My friends and I went on 3rd Dec for some dinner, the weather was a bit foggy/misty but the views were still beautiful.
Unfortunately, that all the positives for me. My friends and I ordered drinks at the same time, they all came at different times, which was understandable because some of us were having cocktails, others were having beers. However, on reflection, I thought waiting 5mins for a beer of Chang to be excessive. Although, it seems this would be the theme of our visit here, as we then waited for 20mins before asking someone if we could order food. Again, we all ordered at the same time I ordered the Australian steak and asked for it medium. All of our food came out at different times, and mine was the last meal to come out. My one friend, who ordered the same dish as me, actually finished there meal before I even started mine. When my meal finally came, i took only a few mouthfuls before i had to send it back because it wasn't cooked medium, still very pink with blood coming from the meat whilst cutting and the chips were cold. I was told that my meal was going to be redone, I wasn't told how long it would be so just waited. All of my friends had finished their meals and it took one of my friends to ask where my meal was, as it had been over 15mins. I was told it would be with me shortly. So I patiently waited, only to witness a server, who had a tray of food for a couple dinning near by, give one of their meals to my server, to give to me. The lady at that table them had to wait 15mins for, what I assume, would have been my replacement meal. Thankful, it was cooked better this time round and the chips were warm. Rightly or wrongly, after I finished my meal, my friends and I soon left, without dessert (which is unusual for all of us) and paid our bill in full - my friends wanted to challenge it but after all the fuss, I just wanted to leave.
To say I was disappointed with my experience was an understatement. Especially with how this place has been hyped up. Regardless of the fact, that the meal was cheaper here than i would have paid at home, whether the kitchen be a slight walk from where you dine and despite the complimentary drinks given for the hassle. The lack of service, poor communication, mediocre food and long waiting times didn't change the fact that I believe this place to be overrated. Especially when you are expected to spend at minimum to sit and dine on the top floor.
If you want good food and service, go elsewhere. If you want to pose and get the pics for social media, then by all means visit Tree...
Read moreWe booked a table for 8 people at this clubhouse, as soon as we arrived, the staff were rude instantly, stating that we had booked a different day but reluctantly agreed to seat us at a prime table which we had specifically reserved! We sat and ordered food and cocktails after asking 3 times, we witnessed staff serve other tables before us, and we were made to feel like an inconvenience. Once we received our cocktails, a very rude bald man in a white t shirt who we assumed as the manager told us unless we bought a bottle, we would have to leave our reserved table and move to a less desirable spot in the restaurant, this was not mentioned in the original booking. We did move as requested, for the remainder of the evening, we were glared at by this manager and other staff members which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Finally, we asked for our bill which included a 965tbht service charge !! We told the staff we would like this removed, the manager then said “are you asking or demanding, because if you are demanding then we are not taking it off, I am trying to run a business here” this was said in a patronising tone.
It was unfortunate how uncomfortable we were made to feel as the venue was beautiful and the cocktails were delicious, we would have spent a long evening there and spent a lot more money! Terrible experience, would not recommend at all unless you are of a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Tree Bay Club House and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for the rest of my visit.
The food was a standout, each dish was delicious and clearly crafted with care. The menu offers a variety of options, catering to a range of tastes, and each bite was a testament to the culinary skills of the chef.
But the experience didn't stop at the food. The Club House boasts an incredible view that is truly breathtaking. It's the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening, adding to the overall ambiance of the place.
The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, with good music playing in the background. It was the perfect balance, lively enough to keep the energy up, but not too loud that you can't have a conversation.
And the cherry on top? The sunset. Watching the sun go down at the Tree Bay Club House was a memorable experience. The view, combined with the overall atmosphere, made it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the evening.
I can confidently say that the Tree Bay Club House is my new go-to place to enjoy sunsets. Whether you're looking for a place to have a delicious meal, enjoy good music, or simply watch the sunset, I highly recommend the Tree Bay Club House. It's a place where good food, great views, and warm welcomes come together to create an...
