There is a official bus line for only 15 Baht per person from the town (alongside the hospital) to Don Hoi Lot, but there are not so many departing times a day, so maybe you choose to take a tuk tuk for about 120 Baht fix price which takes you there in 10 minutes. Be aware of the sea level at the different times. In the morning is a low water level where you can walk far beyond the sea and in the afternoon there is a high water level where you just enjoy the view or maybe you just take a swim at this level. A nice walk along the sea within 2 km. There are many different stores selling fresh seafood for a cheap price. Just pick up what you like to eat and rent a seat mat for 20 Baht and you can make your stay comfortable at any free place near the sea and just enjoy your selected seafood with a stunning view to to sea with a nice sea breeze. The last bus to the town goes at 16 pm, so choose wisely your time or just rent a motorbike to return at any time you wish....
