Masjid Klang Koh Samui | Masjid Nurul Ihsan | مسجد — Attraction in Surat Thani Province

Alhamdulillah, a beautiful Masjid surrounded by a Muslim community.

The khutba was in Thai and Arabic, a little different style wise from the traditional Khutba's I'm familiar. Although a diverse congregation was present including Malaysian's and other Asians.

The Masjid's seems to have plenty of space in a courtyard but no vehicular parking. Actually there is a small dirt track leading to the Masjid, not that great on a wet day.

I have really struggled to get pertinent information about Masjid's and Prayer times in Thailand. Please do add this basic information to your website's and on Google. Possibly, we have a very shy Muslim community and hence the reluctance to share such information.

I have been told about Masjid's in Koh Samui but they are not on maps and hence very difficult to get a taxi to such location.

Ein kleines Fischerdorf mitten im Urlaubsgebiet auf der wunderschönen Insel Koh Samui. Die Einheimischen sind sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir durften den Imam, Achmad von der dortigen Moschee kennenlernen. Er war sehr freundlich und hat uns die Moschee und auch die Umgebung dort gezeigt und erklärt. Meine Frau durfte in einem abgeteilten Raum beten, vielen Dank dafür. Auch wenn es ärmliche Verhältnisse hier sind (wie mache es hier bezeichnen) die Menschen hier haben ein warmes Herz und sind offen und freundlich zu uns Fremden. Vielen Dank und Daumen hoch. The locals are very nice, friendly and accommodating. We were allowed to get to know the imam, Achmad, from the mosque there. He was very friendly and showed us and explained the mosque and the area there. My wife was allowed to pray in a separate room, thank you very much. Even if the conditions here are poor (how do I call it here) the people here have a warm heart and are open and friendly to us strangers. Thank you and thumbs up. After dinner the Malayu Seafood, we went here for Isya' Prayers. Stumbled upon the local imam Hj Ghazali. He speaks fluent Bahasa Melayu. Very friendly guy and he explained abit on the the Malay roots here originated from Patani. The locals here are very friendly.

I can feel that this place has a good vibe especially on Malay/Muslim close knit community. Fell in love already in this place. Alas, that was a very short visit. I must say the visit here is mandatory for...
