Bamboo Cafe and Shop — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

This neat, small café provides British and European food at a very reasonable price, and is situated in the village of Hua Thanon, about 50 metres south of the enormous Chinese temple. My wife and I had occasion to visit several times during out stay. Over the holiday we sampled a range of the burgers on offer and found them to be surprisingly delicious. I also ate the Lasagne which was excellent as well. The café also sells a range of frozen, British-type, home made sausages, pies and cured bacon, which we have found to be really very good and inexpensive. First time visiting Girda from Manchester and her lovely cafe. By far the best English breakfast I've had in 3 weeks in Samui. Sausages were very meaty and delicious, proper back bacon un/cremated, nice mushrooms, tomatoes and beans, even the toast and butter was better than anywhere else too. Shame it's our last day here or we would have become regulars. Partner had a steak and mushroom pie, full to the brim with filling and also very delicious. Well worth a visit and cheap too.
