A very good, large night market filled with a wide variety of stalls. The market comes alive after dark and goes until the early hours. Unfortunately there is no BTS station withing walking distance but a taxi from Kazartsart or 11th Infantry Regiment stations will only cost around 80-100 Baht currently and will drop you off at the taxi stop outside where a return taxi can easily be found too. While browsing the many stalls for clothes, trainers, car accessories, plants and much more, you can stop off at one of the larger sit in food outlets or grab a snack in passing atv one of the smaller kiosks. This market is very much a Thai market visited by the Bangkok Comnunity but having visited many times you can browse and buy easily without difficulty even if you dont speak Thai. Word of note, go on a dry evening as there is little shelter and many stalls will close up if the weather takes a turn for the worse in this...

As an open-air, night market in Bangkok goes, this is definitely one of the top and liveliest ones, especially with a more “local vibes”. Situated on the Northern side of Central Bangkok and along the Ram Indra-Ard Narong (or Chalong Rat Expressway Toll Road) near Watcharaphon & Ram Indra roads, the Liab Duan Night Market (or “Along The Expressway” Night Market) offers many essentials for a good, open-air, night market. It has plenty of booths selling goods (new and secondhand items), even interesting stuffs (cannabis or live lizards, anyone?), services (tattoos, nails, hair, etc.), and variety of food & drinks options. While Jodd Fairs on Rama 9th is more catered for international tourists, this one is purely geared for local Thais. Paid parking is available (30 THB USD0.90 for cars, 10 THB USD0.30 for...

More towards local night market however on a more pricey end. Always come here for the mookata charcoal seafood buffet, have a few different restaurants and all have their own speciality. However the one in the picture with the yellow sign board is the biggest mookata restaurant in this night market, it's clean and spacious and one of it uniqueness is that you will be sitting right beside the prawn tanks which you can ownself catch the live prawns from the tank and cook it immediate. There is also a big food street here with all the usual Bangkok Street food which you can think of and there is also a hawker style food street beside it. For clothing, accessories etc, you will be able to get mostly what you are looking for in a night...

A night market for the locals here - my companion and I were totally lost in translation when we had to signal drinking water just to order a bottle of water. Not complaining but just a note for tourists potentially wanting to visit the night market here. With that said, we had a great night and was amazed with the insane scale of the market. All the locals were delightfully friendly to us. Clean, opened air and pleasant, we had fun walking around where there’s a great mix of products and food offerings. Didn’t like the few stalls selling puppies or hamsters though. With the many touristy night markers closing down, I’m glad I took a call to venture a little further for a new adventure. One for the memories.
