ABB-Dikmen Vadisi Parkı — Attraction in Çankaya

One of the most beautiful gardens in Ankara The water features, landscape, sport and kids areas and the green areas are amazing. Thanks to the Turkish government it is all for free with excellent mantainance and cleanliness. You can make a picnic there, birthday party or just have a walk. The only disadvantage in my opinion is the abscence of cafés and shops. (The only café in the vadi is now closed) If you are planning to spend your day there you have to bring your food and beverages with you . At one end of the vadi there is the famous elegant restaurant called Tavaci Recep where they have the best etli pilav ( a local dish of meat and rice) it is expensive.
