Not What It Used to Be

We had visited Meşhur Tavacı Recep Usta in the past and had a great experience, which is why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this time was completely different — and very disappointing.

Other tables were being served fresh bread and their food was nicely plated. We, on the other hand, were ignored. When we politely asked why our service was lacking, a staff member replied: “We thought you were from another country.”

That response was both rude and unprofessional. Good service and hospitality should never be based on where someone is from.

To make things worse, the food this time was just average, while the prices were extremely high — absolutely not worth it.

It’s sad to see such a well-known restaurant lose its quality and respect for customers. We won’t be returning, and we can’t...
