This is a wonderful little town west of Izmir, near Cesme. Like Urla and Sirince, it is a traditional village that has successfully turned its historical center into a posh tourist attraction, with hundreds of boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as craftsmen and artists who sell their wares on mostly pedestrian streets. The town is built on a hill, so the streets can be steep at times, but never too strenuous. The architecture there is pretty, because it has an older feel to it. There's definitely history there. Parking can be an issue, so you may have to drive a bit before finding a space. Expect to walk quite a bit. Well worth the drive and the time to visit. Please note that although there is a marina, the town is not near the water.

Alacati Old Town is a hidden gem that captivates visitors with its charming cobblestone streets and beautifully preserved stone houses. The vibrant bougainvillea adds a pop of color, creating a picturesque backdrop for leisurely strolls. The quaint boutiques and artisanal shops offer unique finds, while the local cafes serve delicious Turkish coffee and pastries. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a meal at a cozy outdoor restaurant. The historical architecture and the serene ambiance make it a wonderful escape. Overall, Alacati Old Town is a delightful destination that combines history, culture, and stunning scenery, making it a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Turkey.

Merhaba Alaçati 🇹🇷😍 Alaçati is a part of Izmir on the Western coast of Turkey, often noted for its architecture, vineyards, windmills, and sea. It is one of the most traditional towns in Turkey🇹🇷 with stone houses, narrow streets, boutique hotels and restaurants with tables on the streets." Alaçati is said to be the most beautiful town in türkiye - and indeed, its streets so picturesque, you even don't know where to start and to end taking pictures 📸👌😅😍😁 The only downside of this place is that it's way too full and packed with people and due to massive tourism prices for food are pretty high....🙄

Many restaurants, cafes, shops left and right. . Narrow asphalt roads. The restored stone houses are a must-see, especially in summer. It's like art is bursting from the alleys of Alacati :) From those narrow alleys, roads full of trees with colorful flowers and colorful doors, it's like you're crossing into another world, peace is in your bones. It's a very good place, wonderful atmosphere Yes, you don't want to leave here, but Elachati is a very expensive place, except for one of the places I will come to next, I really liked it 👌🏻🤞🏻👌🏻🤞🏻

B'S REVIEW ♡ You can not come to cesme / alacati and not visit this wondering place . First of all paking might be a problem and its on one residential road get to the alley ways with shops so id highly reccomend walking ( if possible ) or taxi. Best to experience at night but during the day is better as its less crowded. MANY shops to browse , coffe shops , resturant and jewellery shops . 10/10

This area has a unique artistic feel to it, similar to other cobble stone streets you see in Rome or Barcelona. It gets very crowded after 5 pm so it's best not to take a car. You'll see many restaurants, high-end and street food, coffee shops, boutiques, etc. Every where you look is a postcard image! It is truly beautiful and charming in every way. Picture opportunities every second walking here!
