King Paragliding Alanya — Attraction in Alanya

I flew with the company King Paragliding. The cost is too high compared to competitors - 1600 Turkish Lira per person. During the transfer, they had me sign a document waiving any liability on their part. Understandably, this document holds no legal power, but it was still unsettling. The safety instructions only covered recommendations for takeoff and landing, while they remained silent on other scenarios. Perhaps such situations didn't exist, but it would have been nice to know.

You'll only get to enjoy the flight if your purpose is to take photos there's little time between photos to take in the surroundings. You'll be holding a selfie stick throughout the entire flight. Taking photos with your phone is prohibited due to safety reasons.

The cost of these photos is even more intriguing. It starts from 70€. This includes 2 videos - one during takeoff and another during landing - along with some meaningless 360-degree photos and around 100 regular photos.

In the end, they offered me a discount on the photos of over 60%, after double-checking if all the photos and videos would be provided, to which they confirmed. While copying the photos, I noticed that the 360-degree photos were missing from the copy (I didn't need them, but if you claim that everything is included for this price, then provide everything or clarify what's included). I pointed this out to the staff, and they copied the rest.

I have no issues with my pilot.

If I fly again, I will definitely decline any photography to enjoy the height and tranquility. The flight time was less than 15 minutes, as there was a 20-minute gap between my last photo before the flight and after landing.

My conclusion is this: if you have extra money and are willing to smile and pay the stated price, everything will be fine. If money doesn't grow on trees for you, then go directly to the beach where the landing spot is and buy the experience for 2-3 times cheaper without overpaying, just make sure to inquire about...

we drove ourselves from antalya to alanya but did not realise how much traffic due to roadworks so was late but they held on for us and we met the minibus on the main road near the shop. it worked out at €70 each to fly from the 700 metre platform which should give you 20 minute flight roughly. they took lots of pictures i do wish i had been given some time just to absorb the scenery a bit as it seemed to be over fairly quick with all the posing. the photo package is €60 euros gives you all videos as well and another 10 euros for the 360 images which now after getting home to myself are not really worth it, they are fun do not get me wrong but a straight forward photo is much better for me. as i am a bigger size woman i was worried but they assured me i was fine, gave clear instruction and we had a great time! absolutely loved it and would do it again. definitely a trustworthy operator in alanya to book with. we communicated with whatsapp before travelling from the Uk and paid a 20€ deposit via a link. my photos initially would not go from their stick to my iphone so was given an upload link via email and was able to get them all downloaded after we got back. maybe for future they get a bunch of small gigabyte usb drives to drop them on as some people are not...

Really good experience with these guys. There was a bit of a delay due to unexpected weather conditions in the morning but that's something they can't influence. They picked us up from the hotel and dropped in the same place. Really friendly team, first time paragliding and it was great. Relaxed atmosphere, no time to waste or to hesitate on the top of the mountain. Big plus is we started right on the top of the mountain - not like half way through (I'm not sure if half way through is single/experienced paragliders). They offered us some tea/coffee/water on their station, then took to the peak, strapped to equipment and off we went :D I was with really communicative lad told me to pose in different ways - wife was with the man that wasn't too talkative or didn't help to relax and take some nice fun photos so she is not that excited with photos or movie. Really important part is to talk to the client, tell them when helmet is being removed and photos taken, support mid-air (just like the lad I've paraglided with).
