This is one of the most interesting churches in the Rose Valley. I walked down the mountain to it after seeing Hacli Kilise, and then went to the last church called Direkli Kilise. Google Maps has the wrong coordinates and name. It is not clear when my corrections will be accepted, so I will duplicate the actual information here. The correct name of the church is Joachaim-Anna Kilise (TR) or Joachaim and Anna Church (EN). Coordinates: 38.656218, 34.85347.

Anna Joachim Kilisesi’nin, olasılıkla 10. yüzyıla ait kuzey nefi ile güney nefinin aynı döneme ait olduğu düşünülmektedir. Silmeleri, kemer ve kemer içlerini dolaşan zikzak ve dama motifleri ile kiliselerin çeşitli yerlerinde karşılaşılabilen değişik boyuttaki haçların varlığını, kilisenin tamamlanmasından sonra, bunu belirtmek için en uygun sembol olan haç ile en basit bezeme olan geometrik motiflerin kullanımı olarak değerlendirmek gereklidir.
