I visited Aquajoy water park in Turkey and had an incredibly disappointing experience. The park is in desperate need of renovation, with a dated appearance that is far from inviting. To make matters worse, their pricing strategy is beyond frustrating. Initially, they attempted to charge us an exorbitant 900 TL for adults and 750 TL for each child. After protesting, they miraculously lowered the prices to 750 TL and 500 TL, showing a lack of transparency and consistency.
The overall atmosphere of the park was far from enjoyable. The pool's sloped entrance and exit were not only slippery but also contributed to the overwhelming crowding issue. It felt like the park was a magnet for local troublemakers and opportunists, leaving us on constant guard to protect our belongings. If you decide to brave this place, be prepared for what I can only describe as an unsettling environment.
The long queue times for the slides were frustrating, and the sorry state of the inflatable rings further added to the disappointment. Many of them were deflated and strewn about, creating an eyesore and a clear lack of maintenance. All in all, I strongly advise against visiting Aquajoy water park. The negative aspects of this experience far outweigh any potential enjoyment, and there are surely better options available for a pleasant water...
Read moreThe park itself is clean and based on a place called Sojurn, in Magnavat. We stayed at the Ramada and I was told it was two local buses (one to Sojurn and one to Magnavat), as there were nine in our group was cheaper to hire a taxi. We got he here at 1030 and it was quiet, which was surprising as Google said it would be busy. Anyway, it made life easy for us. My family (2 adults and three children) were charged 80 euros, you are given a band which you top up with currency to use around the park. The changing rooms have lockers with keys (you do not have to pay to use). The park got busier in the afternoon and for an hour I did notice some hogging of the slide floats. But this was short lived as people started to leave. The prices are reasonable (95 lira for cheeseburger meal) and therefore you do not have to leave. It is true the water in the kids area was colder, but it was 34 degrees so nobody was bothered. It has plenty of slides and enough deck chairs to allow you to relax in the shade. We spent the day here and I am not disappointed. It’s clean, the slides are staffed and I was happy to leave my kids on their own. For what we paid, the kids enjoyed themselves and were well fed. I could not...
Read moreAVOID ..This place is filthy! Toilets and changing facilities disgusting. All toilet seats broken, no flush, used nappies and used sanitary pads left on floor. Toilets were like this at the start of the day so clearly no cleaning from previous day. Cigarette butts all over the floor all around the sunbed area, majority of sun beds broken and dangerous for use. We were so disgusted with the poor hygiene of this place we reported it to the management, they made a very poor attempt to clean the toilets with just running water from a hosepipe, not a cleaning solution in sight. We decided to leave one hour after arrival having not used a single slide, we were refused a full refund. After a worrying conversation with the manager who blamed the poor hygiene on them having cleaning and lifeguard shortages.. surely the better decision in this case would be to remain closed rather than operate a business with so many health safety concerns. We left with 50% refund and very...
