Beautiful beach, of course, but not sure the parks and rec agency cleans it. We literally found a broken wine glass stem stuck upright in the sand today. Also, people drink their beer and leave the metal beer caps all over the place. The clear cayak photoshoots are going on all the time with construction noise abounding in the background. So sad that such a gorgeous beach is being ruined. We also saw a mobile massage service on site who left the broken structure of their large tent in the bushes. Such disregard for the...

Updated April 2025 — Lowered my rating because the beach has gotten significantly popular over the past couple years. There were also rocks on the shore which made it super uncomfortable to walk. — I’ve been on the island for 3 days and have gone to this beach every single day. Bring your own chairs, go early enough and you’ll have the whole beach to yourself. Bring snorkeling gear as there are reefs and you can see some amazing fish! No rocks, soft sand and kid friendly....

This is my favourite beach to come to. I come here to clear my mind and console my soul. Sometimes it's very quiet, and sometimes it's busy. But for the most part there's typically not that many people there. Great place to start a very long walk or run. Great place to come and witness stunning and breathtaking moonrise, sunset and sunrises. Oh and also witness some mind blowing storm cells out at sea. Can't go wrong. Bring...

What a gorgeous beach to visit! Very easy to find parking and offers clear water, it was very calm the day we went. The sand is soft at the bottom and it does get pretty deep not too far out from the shore. Only downside is when we went there was a lot of construction and the noise ruined the tranquility, however, I am sure this beach is absolutely marvelous on the days there is no noise.
