I recently visited Underwater World Pattaya, and I must say it was an incredible experience! From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the sheer beauty and wonder of the marine world. It truly felt like stepping into another realm. The variety of marine life on display is simply astonishing. From vibrant tropical fish to majestic sharks and graceful manta rays, every corner of this aquarium was teeming with fascinating creatures. The exhibits are thoughtfully designed, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with the marine inhabitants without compromising their safety. One of the highlights of my visit was the mesmerizing walk-through tunnel. It felt like being surrounded by an underwater paradise as colorful fish and majestic sea turtles swam gracefully above me. The immersive experience was truly unforgettable. The staff at Underwater World Pattaya were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about marine conservation. They were always ready to answer questions and provide interesting facts about the various species. It was evident that they genuinely cared about the well-being of the animals and the importance of educating visitors about marine ecosystems. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and conveniently organized. The signage and information boards were clear and informative, enhancing the educational aspect of the visit. There were also interactive exhibits and feeding sessions that added an extra layer of excitement to the experience. Whether you're a marine enthusiast, a family with kids, or simply looking for a unique and awe-inspiring experience, I highly recommend visiting Underwater World Pattaya. It's a fantastic place to learn, appreciate the beauty of marine life, and gain a deeper understanding of our oceans. My visit to Underwater World Pattaya left me with lasting memories and a renewed appreciation for the incredible biodiversity that exists beneath the waves. It's an absolute gem of an attraction and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pattaya.

Visiting Underwater World in Pattaya, Thailand, was an experience that left me both enchanted and reflective. This modern aquarium, nestled along Sukhumvit Road, promises a glimpse into the ocean’s depths, and it delivers—especially through its captivating fish feeding live shows, which are the undeniable highlight of the trip. The feeding shows are a meticulously timed spectacle, drawing crowds to witness the underwater ballet of marine life. At the Coral Reef Zone (10:30 AM and 3:00 PM), I watched divers hand-feed vibrant schools of fish darting among colorful corals. The precision and grace were mesmerizing, as the fish swarmed in a kaleidoscope of motion, their scales glinting under the aquarium lights. Next, the Open Ocean Zone (11:00 AM and 4:00 PM) showcased the raw power of sharks and manta rays. Seeing a diver calmly offer food to these majestic predators through the 100-meter acrylic tunnel felt surreal—sharks gliding overhead, jaws opening with calculated ease, while rays flapped like underwater birds. The Giant of Siam Zone (11:30 AM and 3:30 PM) added a local twist, with massive freshwater fish like the arapaima gulping down their meals amid a shipwreck-themed tank. Each show lasted about 15-20 minutes, but the energy lingered, amplified by the staff’s educational commentary on marine behavior and conservation. Beyond the shows, the aquarium’s 5,000+ animals across zones like the Jellyfish and Touch Pool areas were impressive, though some tanks appeared cramped and murky, hinting at maintenance struggles. At 500 baht for foreigners (versus 250 for locals), it’s a bit steep for the hour-long visit, but the feeding shows alone justify the cost. They’re a thrilling blend of nature and theater—perfect for families or anyone curious about the sea. Despite some upkeep concerns, Underwater World’s live feeding events make it a standout in Pattaya’s crowded attraction scene.

**Review of Underwater World Pattaya** ⭐️⭐️ I recently visited Underwater World Pattaya, hoping for a vibrant and engaging experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling quite disappointed. Upon entering, I was expecting the immersive underwater atmosphere that the name promises. However, I was struck by the complete lack of the robust, salty smell of the ocean that typically envelops such attractions. Instead, there was an odd, stale scent throughout the facility that detracted from the experience. It felt more like an aquarium exhibit than a journey into an underwater world. As for the marine life, I was genuinely surprised by the lack of colorful fish in the tanks. I had anticipated a dazzling display of biodiversity, but many of the tanks appeared sparse and uninspiring. The few fish that were present seemed dull and unremarkable, lacking the vibrant colors and lively movements that one might expect in a venue dedicated to oceanic life. It was disheartening to see so few species represented, and the overall atmosphere felt rather subdued. Furthermore, some of the tanks were not well-maintained. A few appeared cloudy, which only amplified the lack of vibrancy in the exhibits. The overall layout of the underwater tunnels and tanks also felt somewhat cramped, making it difficult to fully appreciate the few fish that were present. In summary, while Underwater World Pattaya has potential, it fell short of my expectations for an underwater adventure. It’s in dire need of improvements in both the sensory experience and the diversity of marine life showcased. I would recommend seeking out alternative attractions in Pattaya that offer a more authentic and colorful encounter with marine life.

Underwater World Pattaya is home to marine life from the Gulf of Thailand, including colorful coral and sea animals. Not only is a place to enjoy at your leisure time, this aquarium in Pattaya is also a sea life learning center, a great choice for a family trip. Get a fascinating experience of an underwater world by walking though the 105-meter long glass tunnel with sea fish and other marine species gliding above you. The exhibition is divided into the following zones: Coral Zone: Watch rare beautiful sea fish swimming through vivid coral reefs. Shark and Ray Zone: See sharks, rays, and other big marine life. Visitors can also dive in the tank with a diving instructor to get a close up experience with the fish or watch how the fish is fed by the staff, with five feeding times a day. Giant of Siam Zone: Observe an artificial ship wreck which is a shelter for marine animals and see rare freshwater fish and economic fish of Thailand. Jellyfish Zone: The biggest collection of jellyfish species in Thailand. Reptile Zone: Watch a great variety of reptile species from all over the world. Other interesting activities include seeing an amazing anti-gravity fish tank, feeding carp and sea turtles, watching an otter show (four times a day), and shopping for souvenirs. When thinking of things to do in Pattaya, don’t forget Underwater World Pattaya!

First off, if you're a resident and have proof (e.g. driving licence, school ID (for kids)) take it as this halves the price, which really isn't cheap for this part of Thailand and what's on offer. The aquariums all seem clean and the animals in good condition but there isn't a lot of information in English (which is fine, names, both English and scientific is adequate). The standout feature for me was the hands on tank so you can touch some of the animals. As with a lot of these places there are pay for extras that vary in their worthiness. 60 baht to feed the turtles, 50 baht to feed the fish, 100-400 baht to have your photograph taken with a snake, etc. All this you can choose to do or not and the cheaper items seem to be genuinely worthwhile. There are three walk through tunnels with different fish in each and these did impress me. You have a great opportunity for photographs. The downside was the staff who keep on taking your picture even when you ask them not to. They are trying to sell you the pictures at the end but it's more than a little annoying. Also, if you've been to Rayong aquarium you'll be astonished at the price mark up with so little that's any better. It is a good enough aquarium but the experience is marred by the staff and the price.
