Can't give anything less than 5 stars for this gem of a park. One of the oldest parks in Abu Dhabi.

Had lost it's glory for a few years around Covid time, but now the park's has been restored to its pristine condition.

Just love the Abu Dhabi government for what they do to build and maintain parks for the common health and wellness of the society.

This park has everything ticked -

Rest room (though 1 only, I think) Prayer area (men as well as women, but in separate parts of the park) Enormous parking (but it is paid) Green areas (huge) Barbecue spots Kids play areas (sanded) A winding walking / cycling / skating track through the park. Abundant trees for shades Fully re-laid pavement stones, which makes it a pleasure to walk / cycle / skate slowly. An adjoining KFC (though drive-through only I believe)

Even on Sundays, when there will be a lot of people, the park doesn't seem crowded, interestingly. The only crowded spots would be the nearby the barbecue spots. Away from the barbecue areas, i.e. towards the Airport Road, the park is not crowded at all.

The things which would take this park to a wholesome level would be if the below are developed -

Additional restrooms (as it's a large park) Some cafes / baqala Additional kids play equipments ( though there are kids play areas, they seem few and actually quite old style, as compared to the size of the park) The evening lighting (the lights are still probably the original bulb style white lights. Though there are many of them, the park is actually very dark in the evening.
