As Diamond member & frequent Hilton brand supporter. Overall I enjoyed the experience. Room was spacious & clean so was the bathroom. Lounge access was Ok i have been to larger & better offering than this hotel, but did the job. Super friendly personal & will make sure to recognize you & greet you by name. Price reasonable. I utilized dry cleaning services & was on time. Few suggestions: Biz travelers require more than Two outlets at desk (one you have to hunt for under desk) I had to use Bathroom outlet to charge my tablet Smoking. While I understand this middle east region still behind as hotel brand. At minimum separate smoking in restaurant. It stunk. Smoking around your enclosed (2ed floor) coffee shop shouldn't be allowed. Why do smokers have more right to pollute air I breath? I tried paid breakfast downstairs (as Diamond member you don't get it for free) breakfast area compared to price is truly lacking, especially if I compare it to Rotana where my parents stayed. Service as well needs to improve there.
Overall if you looking for hotel that avoids traffic and there for biz this be a choice. If looking for beach try Rotana hotels. Avoid Hilton on Corniche not really on beach. Of course if you care about Hilton status & nights those are two...

Hilton hotels are a second home to my entire family. We have spent many family holiday there worldwide. Some of our best times were spent at Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi. I have watched the staff across all levels develop and provide a better holiday destination in the past 4 months. The above Hilton was so enjoyable and relaxing that even post hospital stays my family and I stayed there to recouperate.
After this weekend and meeting Don Achila( Udana) I found him to be the worst person at the hotel. "Make it right" a motto that every other person in the Hilton group lives by except Don Achila(Udana)
My daughter is a Diamond member, husband and son Gold and myself a member. My son only very recently dropped status from Diamond to Gold.
On checking in on Thursday afternoon my son enquired to us to get executive lounge access to which Don Achila(Udana) said no because the hotel was almost fully booked and the lounge was too small but if we paid for it that would be great. His attitude was surly and officious.
My question: would the lounge grow bigger if we paid for access?
I are really very disappointed as almost everyone there knows us and I wonder whether we should use the Hilton...
Read morePlease do not stay at this hotel!! I’m a Hilton Honors member and had booked three rooms over the weekend. As I wanted a particular room, I had pre-reserved the room through the Hilton site, and had a 30 minute chat with their agent as I was celebrating my anniversary. Before I arrived at the hotel everything was perfect, they even said that they would have something special done for my Anniversary. It was a completely different story when we arrived. The rooms which we booked were not available, and hence we were made to wait and stand around for two hours in the reception as they tried to figure out a solution while being absolutely arrogant with us. The staff in this place make you feel like ur staying there for free. Finally they upgraded us to a higher category room, but again kept us waiting for another two hours. By the time we checked in to our rooms it was probably 5 hours after we arrived. They even messed up our anniversary surprise and sent it across to someone else’s room, and after speaking to the front desk, they actually had the audacity to tell us to go and take it from that room. The property is nice but please try to avoid this place if you can as the staff would definitely stress you out and...
