Arabia’s Wildlife Center is located inside Sharjah Desert Park and is the park’s main attraction. It is an air-conditioned area, making it an ideal destination to visit during the summer. It is a wonderful place to visit with children at a reasonable ticket price.

Do note that park timings differ on Fridays and weekends, so it is best to check before visiting. Only cash is accepted at the ticket counter, so make sure to carry enough cash. Tickets must be purchased from the main gate and the same ticket is valid for all four attractions - Natural History Museum, Children’s Farm and Islamic Botanical Garden, in addition to the Wildlife Center. All attractions can be covered in 3–4 hours and you can drive your car from one attraction to another. Ticket prices are AED 21 for adults, while children under 13 can enter free.

The zoo houses a wide variety of reptiles, fish, birds and animals such as deer, cheetahs, monkeys, camels, etc. All walkways are air-conditioned, make a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

There is also a restaurant where you can enjoy views of the animals through large glass windows while dining. We didn’t try the food, due to the attitude of service staff. Apart from that, our visit was a wonderful experience and truly worth it.

There is an open play area near the Museum, giving kids another reason to enjoy the trip. The Children’s Farm is not air-conditioned, but it is a small section that can be covered in about 30 minutes.

Highly recommended as a must visit...

Exceeded my expectations Many animals for my little one to enjoy- monkey leopard snakes and birds Science enthusiasts will love the museum Detailed review below Entry is to be paid by cash only This place has 4 different divisions which are accessible by car First is farm - not air conditioned so keep it for evenings when it’s not very hot - has many farm animals not very big but kids can feed animals there Animals seen on our visit - camel, hen, peacock, goat, sheep, donkey, cow, ducks, love birds Second is the wildlife center It’s fully air conditioned - starts with snakes, lizards, frogs, mouses and many many bugs Then there’s a big open kinda area where many birds are there - this place had a weird kinda smell but understandable as there’s birds - flamingo, duck, parrots and many other birds there. There’s also porcupines After this there’s many cats and there’s also a bar section, later we have monkeys, leopard etc they have a big cafeteria overlooking the open spaces where there are many animals grazing Third is the botanical garden which in august heat was nothing great to see honestly- this area also has a cafeteria Fourth is science museum- great for kids above 4-5 they’ve kept fossils, many different stones and many extinct animals statues Overall cool place to visit in summers if your kids likes animals but choose weekends otherwise you’ll be stuck in the dreaded traffic
