The best beach for camping and watching sunrise on the Dibba-KhorFakkan-Fujairah area according to our limited experience. I did some research before our Fujairah holiday, and shortlisted a few beaches (Faqiat beach Dibba, Al Aquah beach, Sandy beach, Khor Fakkan beach) to visit based on the online reviews. We drove past most of these and ended up setting our camps on the Al Aquah beach considering that it had a nice view (of sunrise from the sea in front, mountains in the back, clean waters), easy reach (like most of other beaches on the list, you can get very close to the beach in any car), family friendly ambience (not too secluded, and not too crowded either), good sand (some of the other beaches on this coastline have pebbles and rocks but not this one), and clean waters to enjoy a swim. Topping all of this, you have a gas station close by with much needed toilet facilities. There is a Sub-Way as well at the gas station to take care of the morning hunger after you have enjoyed a good swim. If beach experience and camping is on top of your list for Fujairah holidays, I would highly recommend staying somewhere close to Al Aqah beach / Sandy beach area. There seem to be a good range of options available, from luxurious resorts with private beaches to decent and budget friendly hotels...
Read more✨A Blissful Day at Al Aqah Beach, Khorfakkan✨ Al Aqah Beach in Khorfakkan is an absolute treasure! This pristine stretch of soft white sand and crystal-clear waters, framed by the stunning Hajar Mountains, offered a perfect escape from the city bustle. I loved the serene vibe—less crowded than Dubai’s beaches, making it ideal for relaxation. Water sports like snorkeling and jet-skiing were a thrill, and the nearby Snoopy Island added to the adventure. Parking was convenient with ample free spaces near the beach, and I’d recommend booking water activities in advance through local vendors to avoid any hassle. A fantastic spot for families or anyone seeking natural beauty...
Read moreI used to love this public beach. I camp here probably 5x already and this is not a hidden gem anymore sadly. The first time I came was around 7-8years back and it was beautiful. I just camp again last weekend and now it is ruined with private fences from the remnants of 51st UAE holidays. Like 90% was covered most of its shoreline and some campers & visitors left their trashes behind when there is a huge waste bin near to the parking site. What a disgusting and irresponsible behavior. Pretty soon maybe the authorities will not allow to do...
