I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the experience my pregnant wife and I had during our recent visit to your restaurant. What was intended to be a pleasant late-night meal turned into a very uncomfortable and disheartening experience that left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected.

Upon our arrival at around 11:40 PM, we saw a staff member rushing toward the door. We initially assumed he was coming to assist us, especially seeing that my wife is visibly pregnant. However, instead of welcoming us in, he immediately stated that the restaurant was closing at midnight. This was surprising, as we had checked your Google listing which clearly mentions that you are open until 1:00 AM.

When we informed him that we only wanted a takeaway, he then opened the door and allowed us in. Still, the interaction felt cold and uninviting. Once inside, we noticed there was no one at the cashier, and we had to wait while they called someone over. The overall atmosphere made us feel like we were inconveniencing the staff simply by being there, even though it was well within operating hours. We also noticed a table with two customers seated without food, which indicated that they had recently ordered.

Despite being told “we are at your service,” the body language and attitude of the team told a very different story. It was clear that the staff were unhappy to accommodate us, and my wife felt especially uncomfortable given her condition. We tried to remain understanding, assuming they may have been tired or at the end of a long shift, but the feeling of being unwanted was hard to ignore.

After placing our order, we waited patiently. While waiting, the same table we saw earlier was served their food — suggesting their order was placed just minutes before ours. When our food finally arrived around 15 minutes later, my wife politely said “thank you” to the staff member. Unfortunately, he responded with a cold, expressionless face and no acknowledgment. It was a small gesture, but it reinforced the sense of disregard we had already felt.

When we returned to our hotel and opened the food, we were further disappointed to find that the tajin we ordered was watery and soup-like, completely unlike the creamy, flavorful version we had enjoyed on previous visits — typically topped with a golden cheese layer. I’ve attached a photo for reference.

To make matters worse, we found that only cutlery for one person was provided, despite ordering food for two. This added to the overall impression of carelessness and lack of attention to detail.

We hope you take this feedback seriously, as no guest — especially a pregnant woman — should be made to feel like a burden. Because of you she is now mad angry and cannot sleep be understanding of people needs and you are in uae people will read this Food was 4/10 just because the rice and potato were good Service even one start is more than you deserve . This was my favorite seafood restaurant in uae and I've been there many times and always loved it and could not wait for my next trip to fujeirah or rak to eat there again. Today was a different story. Last time I ate there was in rak branch and the food and service was top quality but today at fujeirah branch would be my last time ever eating there again. To start with the staff are very rude and not friendly plus non was wearing their mask. I saw few customer coming in and when they saw staff not wearing mask and using it as a fashion just hanging on their chin then they left. Food wise it was not as good as what it use to be and their paella didn't taste like paella at all and it tasted like seafood biryani. Paella was one of the main reason I go there for and always was on top of my order. Fujeirah gov should do something about it regarding restaurant staff not wearing their mask since they are the ones handling food.

I don't know if the rak branch is same owner as the fujeirah branch but there is a huge differences between these two branches. I will recommend you to visit rak branch instead of fujeirah if you want to have the best seafood I uae and also one of the best service in uae then go...
