5Point Review Activity Duration: Ideal for a half-day picnic. Ratings: 7/10 Dubai and beaches are a never-ending story. So what this Secret Beach has to offer. 1. The Good: White Sands, Great waves, and beautiful sunset. No shacks, lounge chairs, jogging tracks, nothing, and believe me that is a big big plus. In Dubai where all beach areas have been hit by too much development this raw beach comes as a bliss. You can bring your cars right up to the beach. Bring your chairs, picnic lunches, and all that you want because you will find nothing here. 2. The bad: They have added lifeguards here. Add a shower area and changeroom and this would be a five-star beach. (Only Change rooms, don't turn it into another of those happening areas) 3. The WoW factor: There are great waves here, Wind, beautiful clean water, and powdery sand under your feet. For those who love to swim in the sea, this place is perfect. And that too under the backdrop of Burj Al Arab, Atlantis, and even Ain Dubai. I don't think any other beach provides such exclusive backdrops. 4. Money Matters: Free. Free. No need to reach for your wallets 5. 5-point Experience: This Place is ideal for family picnics but bring all you need. Great sea and sand experience without any artificial constructions to spoil the experience. And less crowded than other public beaches. My Verdict: come here for a great dip

Soho Beach, also known as Al Sufouh Beach or the Secret Beach, has been a beloved retreat for both residents and tourists in Dubai. Its secluded location, nestled between the iconic Burj Al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah, provides stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect escape within the bustling city. The beach is known for its shallow waters, which are ideal for families and those seeking a quiet place to swim or enjoy a leisurely walk. Often described as a hidden gem, it offers a sense of tranquility and connection with nature. Unfortunately, as of November 2023, the beach has been temporarily closed for maintenance. This unexpected closure has led to significant disappointment among the community, as many regular visitors find solace and peace at this beach. The local authorities have not provided a detailed timeline for when it will reopen, but the community remains hopeful that this cherished spot will soon be accessible again. Reflecting on the beauty and significance of Soho Beach, it’s clear that its allure lies not just in its picturesque setting but also in the personal connections and memories it holds for many. The hope is that once maintenance is complete, this piece of heaven in the heart of Dubai will once again welcome its visitors with open arms.

Secret Beach is a legendary hidden gem in Dubai's ever-changing lifestyle. It has been a destination for fun, reflection, and growing friendships for anyone who's lived in Dubai for most of their lives. Our school was footsteps away, our universities and work offices a mere few kilometers close by. We shared happy moments, sad moments, family-like moments and moments of inspiration there. As a photographer, I have taken what I consider the most significant work of my career there. It is attached here, and copyrighted. Unfortunately, like every area once precious to Dubaians who have called the city their home for decades, it was finally discovered and exploited for all its worth. Now considered "the second most eye-catching-beach in the world," Secret Beach has not only been ruined by the locust-like swarm of residents and tourists, but also closed off to the public in what could be the most significant testament to prevalent superficiality...how everything has potential to be commercialized or drained of its natural signature, homey charm. I'm sure many people will agree with me when I say Secret Beach should have remained secret. Well-done to those who let the secret out. Another one bites the dust.

Sufouh Beach - Secret Beach: A Hidden Oasis in Dubai Sufouh Beach, often referred to as Secret Beach, is one of Dubai's lesser-known coastal gems. Tucked away between the Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), this peaceful, secluded beach offers a serene escape from the city’s usual hustle and bustle. It’s a perfect spot for those who prefer tranquility and a more private beach experience.

Despite its central location, Sufouh Beach remains a hidden treasure, offering an intimate vibe with fewer crowds compared to other popular Dubai beaches. The crystal-clear waters, soft golden sand, and stunning views of the Palm Jumeirah make it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, or simply relaxing by the sea.

What Makes Sufouh Beach Special: Secluded and Tranquil: The beach offers a more peaceful atmosphere compared to the busy public beaches in Dubai, making it perfect for those seeking a quiet retreat by the sea. Stunning Views: From the beach, visitors can enjoy beautiful views of the Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf, and the surrounding skyline, making it a picturesque location for photography. Ideal for Swimming and Relaxing: With its calm waters and clean surroundings, Sufouh Beach is great for swimming, sunbathing, and unwinding while enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Privacy and Exclusivity: As a lesser-known beach, Sufouh Beach provides a sense of privacy that is hard to find in Dubai’s more popular coastal spots, offering a more relaxed and exclusive experience. Convenient Location: Located just a short drive from key areas like Jumeirah Beach and Dubai Marina, Sufouh Beach is easily accessible for those wanting a peaceful beach day without venturing too far. Whether you’re a local looking for a quiet escape or a tourist seeking a more intimate beach experience, Sufouh Beach is the perfect destination. It offers all the beauty of Dubai’s coastline without the crowds, making it one of the best-kept secrets...
