I can agree with everyone else about the Deeside Way being pleasant but I have to add that sections around Drumoak are broken rock-strewn sheep tracks. Describing those bits as a cycle way is misleading. Those without mountain bikes will be getting off and walking unless they want to risk damage to themselves or their bicycles. The other issue from a cycling point of view is the sheer number of dog walkers who let their dogs run free and make no effort to control them. Yes that's a minority of dog walkers.
