Blether — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

Today was the first time in a long time and I'm talking around 3 years that I got to take my son back to blethers for lunch it used to be every week as I'm from Dundee he's at camphill school Aberdeen and even in the 3 years they hadn't seen us also the fact that in them 3 years my boy had outgrown me......they remembered us remembered his exact order and was crowded and busy as ever....also my boy has been put on certain dairy not allowed diet but still got his tuna pinini but with vegan cheese...he was very happy afterwards which makes me as a father happy....and only £1 extra from 3 years ago but prob the vegan cheese......I think if they were able to buy the building next door and expand they wud be rolling in it.....this isn't even a complaint but just a good idea......and 5 stars all the way........oh and got took even tho we didn't know tables are by booking now.....they made space for 3 of us which in its tiny state was really nice of them......food is amazing from wat I tasted......and my boy like me has repetitive compulsive disorder and gets same thing always and is always very happy after his lunch there like he's hypo......he enjoys it I enjoy it everyone I think will.......I can't think of a single reason why some people wud not.....friendly helpful staff......better than any resterant IV been in in Dundee.........GO...

We had quick, friendly service with detailed and enthusiastic description of the Today's Specials, these were also personally recommended by the waitress along with the popularity of these that morning with other customers. The cheese and ham hot pastry bake was delicious! The cream of mushroom as well as the bacon and mayo chicken club sandwich were delightful. Next time I will have a slice of cake too! Lovely, lively but peaceful cafe with very good food and excellent coffee. Absolutely beautiful food, such welcoming staff and so helpful too! The new Christmas panini was excellent and their soup was homemade and from a qualified chef, myself, I didn't even need to season it! Their ice-cream is fresh and their waffles and a glazed delight. Truly a gem in Aberdeen! It is also a dog friendly café, where the animals are treated to their own food menu, bed, constant treats and attention from staff. Everyone is welcomed ever so warmly at this lovely establishment....
