There is an entry fee to use the park. You pay at a car park machine and your ticket may be checked on the way round. You really need to be fit, skilled and with the right gear to get the best out of the park. I did the XC route and found it challenging even riding a good quality XC Mountain Bike, properly set up running low pressure tubeless tyres. Much of the track is off camber with a lot of tree routes. The surface varies from soil, to chalk to flint. The track is quite narrow in places and goes through the trees so there is plenty of scope for a hard landing if you fall off. In the wet you will be fine, i have been in the snow before so dont be put off by all the other reviews saying not to its still a...
