Ponds and lakes are scattered in serene locations for fishing during open seasons, and of course, nature admiration plus relaxation.
The park is open to all and sundry, from children to grownups of all ages.
Every step leads to several pathways…your choice provides you with further park enlightening.

Gloucester park has varying outdoor training equipments safely mounted, for your use…from hurdles to squat jumps (just to name a few).
It’s a great place to walk with friends and loved ones…continue your current talks or just catch up on old times.

Read moreThis is a beautiful park with lots of potential and a wonderful group of volunteers who take great care of it!
The park has a children's play area, outdoor gym equipment and a skate park and ramp with a handful of benches along most of the footpaths. It has acres upon acres of grass areas, bodies of water, bridges and, more recently, a duck feed machine which you can use to buy duck feed (do remember to bring your own container though!). The most recent addition is a group of walking trails with thanks to several local organisations who helped set this up and put it in place with helpful signage and maps.
Sadly, there is no café at this park and no public toilet or picnic tables which make it a fantastically vast space with plenty of potential but not as much use as it could have if these were in place. This is a huge shame given its brilliant size and location.
Great for festivals, walks or runs - not so great for family picnics or days out...

Parking area is great, plenty plenty of room, over never seen it full.
Small water areas, with grass areas that you could picnic at, if you're into that sorta thing.
The walkways are very dog friendly and there are a few paths to take for variety or changing length of the walks.
Spotted around the park are outdoor workout areas with platforms, piping and other utility places for doing workouts.
There are large open areas for football or other grass sports.
There is also a club housing area for althletics and similar. There is a proper track area too, I suspect club only access though.
