I don’t even know where to start with how amazing our wedding day at Dorney Court was! From the moment we arrived to view it as a potential venue option (after viewing several others), we knew straight away this was the one! The grounds were beautiful and it gave us the elegant touch that we wanted. Rachel showed us around and then conducted all our following meetings and multiple communications and she was AMAZING! She even helped me when I was stressing about silly details like where my bridesmaids were going to stand! We opted to get married outside and were grateful the weather allowed this which gave us the feel of being in multiple locations across the venue which was a huge bonus for us. The food and drinks served were incredible and the staff were so so friendly and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for anymore. In the evening, we had Annabel as our coordinator and she was just as fabulous, making sure everything was running smoothly and keeping things in check behind the scenes, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. The flexibility of the venue was brilliant; we were allowed to have our own evening food catering van to suit the style we wanted and multiple suppliers throughout the day including a tattoo artist and photobooth camper van. The detail that goes into your day is honestly everything we could have wished for and they truly brought every detail of our day to life. Thank you so much to the whole team at Dorney for making our special day so amazing, there are not enough words to write that can show our...

This place is slightly difficult to find. You should look for the entrance which is long and lights in the distance. Half way through there is an electric gate with a gate keeper.

We could not find allocated parking so parked where we could. Walk around the back of the building to a lift which takes you to 3rd floor where events are held. Lift will take a wheelchair comfortably.

Up on the 3rd floor as you leave the lift you'll find yourself on a lit up balcony which has tables and chairs. There are two double doors either end taking you into the events room where there are more tables and chairs, a dance floor and a bar.

Things that were disappointing include nothing lit up showing views outside, no decorations, the couple whos party it was spent a fortune hiring table decorations and large items for photo opertunities.

Plastic plates, knives and forks and tumblers were provided. Food was OK and staff were helpful and friendly. I personally feel there are much nicer places to have your wedding reception, however, it is...

Superb visit today with my little group from Spain. We had the house to ourselves and were warmly received by Louise, our guide. Not only was she super helpful for logistics, she was so engaging and interacted with my group beautifully, really bringing everything to life. From the moment I rang to arrange the visit, to our lovely reception, I was so impressed at the hospitality. My group were bowled over by what an absolutely unique gem Dorney Court is, the house, the gardens and the church and they also even loved the garden centre! I’m desperate to return again….actually would they like a new lodger? Me! Wonderful house, thank you Dorney Court for a memorable guide and a marvellous morning! It really was...

What an extraordinary place. And there's undoubtedly a whole different dynamic to visiting an historic property when one knows that it's still actually a well-loved and well-used 'home' to a living, breathing family, and that it's been lived in by that same family for 14 consecutive generations and for more than 400 years! My friends and I were also blessed with an exceptionally knowledgeable, articulate, witty and personable tour guide, who brought everything to life, gave everything context and who patiently and expertly accommodated all of my additional queries!

I went for a 15 kms hike around Jubilee river when came across Dorney court . The church in my pictures is St James the Less Church - This historic church dates from the 12th Century and has been the local parish church since that time. The church retains many features from the past including a West Gallery and a family pew. The tower was added in Tudor times and the porch was built in 1661 to celebrate the birth of Lady Anne Palmer. Dorney court itself was closed to public due to pandemic .
