We'd been on our way to Bempton Cliffs, which at the time all car parks were rammed so was asked to return an hour or so later. We went in search of a coffee shop or cafe but not really knowing the surrounding areas we scanned Google which most of what came up were Bridlington based. Heading out of Bempton village we came across The Richard Burton Art Centre, which had a sign outside saying Tea Rooms. We decided to pay a visit and received a warm welcome upon arrival and had plenty to look out with many of the paintings that are mounted around the cafe. We visited this wonderful establishment on Saturday, en route to Flamborough Head.
Very good quality Ploughman's Lunch, with three types of cheese, a delicious pork pie with Piccalilli, Branston Pickle, warm crusty bread, salad etc., accompanied by Yorkshire Tea, in china cups.
