I went on a weekend holiday to Cenarth holiday Park it was lovely I really enjoyed the weekend and I would love to go back there another time it's great for kids concidering I am one myself, there is a park there and and an indoor and outdoor pool the indoor pool has a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is a bar that you can go to in the night I do recommend bringing some sort of smart clothes to wear, there is bingo and quizzes and a pool table. There is also a gym if there is anyone crazy enough to go there while on holiday, the children can also play bingo for money and on my flyer ticket I was one number away from winning £246. Cenarth holiday Park isn't to big and you can have some peace there as well. Children are aloud bikes, scooters, go-karts, Segways, roller skate and more.... There is a petrol station 5 minutes down the road along with a convience store there to help you stock up on food while you stay at Cenarth holiday Park... And you can have a lovely day out by the river skimming stones, climbing on the rocks, having a paddle and looking for tadpoles, and the main attraction the Cenarth falls! So I really do recommend spending the weekend at Aberystwyth and enjoying the surroundings of Cenarth falls and take in Wales just for...
Read moreJuly 2019 The falls were not far from where we stayed for the week. To get down to the falls and car park we had to go over the ancient narrow bridge .The river is in a deep valley and you can walk along the river bank only on the one side (left)or upstream in this valley. After a short while ,when you come to leave the river side you do a sort of circular route and you end up in the village. It wasn't busy when we went which is lucky as passing on the river s edge would be tricky. The path on the bank is not a path as such as you walk a lot on the over years what was once the valley floor /river bank volcanised like rocks and its is very uneven in places .You ideally would need to wear proper flat shoes and watch your step. Nice views and a good walk to do .The waterfall was more like rapids when we went .A large car park with a man in a hut collecting the fee. There is a cafe and small gift shop right near car park or go back over the bridge where there are 2 pubs and a...
Read moreCenarth falls is beautiful. The flowing water over the rock formations is beautiful and mesmerising to stand and watch its beauty. There is a wooden walkway along the falls, which is mobility scooter friendly, with passing places. The walkway goes so far, before becoming an earthen pathway, where mobility scooters would be better turning around and coming back. Cenarth itself is a beautiful village, with small cafes, public conveniences and the opportunity to go on the river in a coracle. Well worth the visit and with the manned car park charging £3, it was a very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. The cafe on the side of the falls car park served hot and cold drinks, a selction of light lunches and cakes, with gluten free options. The GF welsh cakes...
