The owner of this farm sue heseltine is very very rude, she does not have any manners toward her customers what so ever!! She has not only been rude to myself but nearly every time I have visited the farm I have witnessed her being very rude to others. I love the farm and so does my children but she really lets it down, I witnessed her saying to an ethnic family to get off her land and she doesn’t want any of (their) sort on her land she is a very rude women enough to make me not want to visit and to find another equally amazing farm. Sue makes you feel very uncomfortable and lacks basic etiquette and manners, very rude miserable women. She is equally just as nasty and makes horrible faces to the children if she doesn’t like the way they are behaving but I’m sorry don’t run a farm for children if a child being a CHILD makes you angry!!! SIDE NOTE - I do not have a clue what you are on about I have never had a party at your farm and that incident has never occurred I am speaking from own experience and from what I’ve seen myself, it has nothing to do with the animals, or anyone or any child handling the animals your just very rude women in general, there has been groups of mums sat discussing how rude and aggressive you are when asked a simple question so the whole scenario you just explained in detail has absolutely nothing to do with me but it doesn’t surprise me that you would think this review is about that as you are rude and abrupt to nearly every customer u have, on the other hand ur husband is a very nice man and is always very polite. If your child is on the autism spectrum or either has behavioural problems I would not recommend going to this farm as the staff and owner is completely rude and ignorant to it. Not a special needs child friendly...

Read moreVisited over the summer with grandchildren. We’ve done a lot of these farm parks in our time and this one was disappointing.
Animals: There’s an awful lot of guinea pigs and we left feeling a bit sad about their treatment. They were worryingly docile and not well monitored in the hands of young children. The tortoise was left to roam the playground freely which sounds wonderful, but in practice, I witnessed a child attempt to pick his shell off, and a child try to stand on its back. It seems an accident waiting to happen. Overall, the little ones were entertained with the day’s programme for just a short time.
Service: Hit and miss. The girls who worked there were all pleasant. Some of the older members of staff would do well to follow their lead. The older lady has a bit of an attitude problem and we witnessed her behave rather oddly to customers at times. Looking through other negative reviews and management responses, it’s a common theme – anyone who has an unsatisfactory experience is painted as merely a troublesome customer. Perhaps some training how to deal with complaints without becoming combative would be useful.
Food: Not great. Choice very limited. The children’s sandwiches didn’t even contain real cheese and the cake was dry as a bone. Definitely take a picnic.
Playground: It’s fine. This is where the kids spent most of their time, but we could have had just as much fun in any number of free playgrounds in the area.
In summary, it was a disappointing...
