Last minute call in for 2x bacon buttie and 2 latte's. 14 quid... wow Grumpy owner/ server! I took coffee to car it tasted of dishwater very weak and milk was scolded rather than frothed .....within one minute looked like a americano rather than a velvety smooth latte. went back in to ask for another shot of expresso to wake the coffee up...Mr grumpy not happy! I've never had complaints before....err read your own reviews! Asked the nice batista😉 if he wouldn't mind tamping the coffee puck to improve the infusion and give the nice crema layer on the shot.think Mr grumpy was more grumpy! 😧when the 'shot' was drawn it looked like dishwasher so obviously some nasty cheap grind coffee.. If you go to the expense and trouble of installing a coffee machine please learn to use it correctly after all your CUSTOMERS are paying a premium price! After all think of the long journeys the coffee bean has been on to end up in a tatty cafe on the a59! Bacon buttie was average (I'm been generous) but two rashers on on a bap is a bit tight for 4 quid! Asked for mushrooms got growled at couldn't get mushrooms today.....so overall I'll give my experience 9.5 out of 10......oops decimal point in wrong place 0.95 out of 10... Looking through reviews (wish I had done it earlier and saved 14quid!) Mr grumpy will respond to critique in the same manner as he served and how he responds to every negative feedback Lack luster owner doesn't deserve the custom. Look faward to your response.

In reply to review. time on visa receipt is 12.46m46s merchant No xxxx14514....£14.80 Mr grumpy gave the impression that it was his joint! Amazing what your staff get up to when no...

I’ve tried this place twice now and to be honest not really rated the food, now I wouldn’t leave a bad review for that as people have different tastes but what happened today is making me leave it as I find it unacceptable. My order was just over £8 and I give £20 cash in, you give me just under £2 back. Now I had to say excuse me that was £20 cash I gave to you, without even a word the woman just opened up the till and give me back my £10. Now I fully accept mistakes can be made but it was not busy and more importantly why on earth would you not apologise for doing it? Its basic manners and in a customer facing role It’s just absolutely bizarre to not apologise and say sorry, it does make you wonder how many times this has been tried previously, Had I not noticed this I would of paid £18 for a breakfast barm and a coffee. from reading previous bad reviews attitude and politeness is a recurring...

Had a great ride out to Route 59 with my motorcycle club from Cheshire. This is a popular spot with motorcyclists.

Today, the lady was holding fort single handed, yet came up with the goods without any more delay than a fully staffed café.

As for quality and price, no complaints whatsoever. All the bikers looked happy, the food kept coming, my lunch tasted good (bacon in a barm) the cappuccino was excellent and everyone else's various meals looked as good as the smiles on their faces.

This stop on the A59 near the 'cho cho' railway station needs your support. It's clearly an old petrol station, so lots of shelter from the rain.

When the money comes in I am sure that they will invest in a few more outside wooden tables and benches but there's plenty of raised walls upon which to sit.

If you're passing on the A59 east out of Skipton, stop give it a try and...

This is like an Oasis in the desert! Making a stop here was the highlight of my journey between Preston and York. The girls behind the counter not only serve up great food but they provide light hearted entertainment /banter! ASK FOR SOMETHING THAT IS NOT ON THE MENU AT YOUR OWN RISK! LOL

What a great place..Arrived late but still got a cuppa n a piece of cake. Great service and nice bikers there to have a chat with too. Bought the air ambulance / route 59 t shirt whilst I was there. I'll be back again soon but I'll be loads earlier so I can get a big breakfast.
