Ridgmont House Horwich — Attraction in Bolton

Tucked away down a remote road from a housing estate, this place isn't easy to find. It is now used as function rooms. I attended an afternoon tea. This consisted of non stop tea and coffee, crustless sandwiches [with LOADS of filling!], teeny bite sized cakes and home made scones with clotted cream and jam. The scones were rather strangely shaped but were served straight from the oven, hot, and were delicious. No skimping on the cream either. A huge bowl of the stuff, from which you could help yourself. Had our wedding at Ridgmont on 4th August 2018. What can I say, absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We booked back in 2016, Martin was attentive and sincere from the original booking until the day of the ceremony. Nothing was too much trouble at all, he even fitted a disco ball to the ceiling especially for the bride! All our guests (and us) commented on how delicious the food was. Booked our wedding renewal they was cashing our cheques and decided to cancel our day on Feb 16th for 20/7/19 due to them wanting more money even though invites etc had been printed.
