Love this place, we park on the road as there's no parking, but always find a place near to the entrance. It's a busy road but there's a crossing next to the entrance. The park itself is a lovely walk around with my dog and children, there's a little stream with a couple of benches, were we had a picnic and watched a squirrel in the tree, lots of nature around. There is a park with swings, slide, see saw etc. Just a short walk up from this they have donkeys, Shetland pony's, peacocks, geese, pigs, alpacas, goats, lambs and chickens. You can stroke these and even book alpaca walks with a guided walk and receive a small bag of their wool. They have a food van too for drinks and snacks and you can buy animal feed to feed certain animals. There's a stationary tractor for the kids to sit on and have pictures. We love this place on a sunny day, perfect family day out. They have a Facebook page called Snig hole snacks, give it a like to see upcoming events. We will...
Read moreseen someone post a great talk about here on a Saturday morning on Facebook , then went and took my toddler daughter and wife in the afternoon, great gem of a place is the petting farm (no admission fee) , where you can turn up and get a pony ride for £6 (first come first serve basis), and buy feed for the other animals in the farm, there are minature goats/minature ponys/donkeys/lama/alpacas /pigs/peacocks to name, tomany animals to list. wished we come earlier in the day as they have a food truck on site that serves hot food and snack, we will do next time and have lunch here, as they have seating outside with beautiful countryside scenery views. There is no onsite, parking, you go through the park entrance, and it's on your left up a small pathway, you will miss it if you're not looking out for it (has an ice cream...

Only bad bit is no toilets but we went to the farm for them. There's a little farm (look up the hill, over the hedge by the zipline) which you get to by the little path by the playground. It's called Snig Hole Snacks and it's such a lovely little farm. No entrance fee and they do a nice range of hot drinks, ice creams and snacks. They also sell animal feed and have a few animals you can feed. Chickens, goats, Alpacas, Shetland ponies and even a sheep. They also have lambs and at certain times you can buy a bottle to...
