One of the last true drinkers pubs in Lancashire. The Robin Hood is a venerable establishment with a history going as far back as the early 1800's. This lovely little building overlooks the river Ogden and is one of the cosiest places I have visited. To be clear, this is not a hostile dive bar, nor is it a millennial gastro-pub which serves beer as an afterthought. This is an old fashioned inn with a log fire, a small bar and a friendly cat. Inside there are two small rooms and a darts board. There is additional seating outside on stone tables overlooking the rushing river below.
