A good, large park close to Bracknell town centre, on a piece of land surrounded by roads leading to and from Bracknell town centre, with a large pond in its centre, Mill Park has lots to offer. There are exercise machines suitable for all ages, a very popular Skate Park, two safe infant play areas, wild meadow land, board walks and fishing platforms, a bird sanctuary and lakeside cafe - and of course, the lake. If that's not enough, it's a nice enough park just to stroll around. Sadly at one end of the park there is a McDonalds restaurant that generates a lot of unsightly trash and traffic jams. The only blemish on a fine park that has seen much generation in recent years.

Lots of wildlife around in the nice weather. A few stagnant corners, but lots of baby birds around at the moment, and the bees and dragonflies are active. The (grey) squirrels are about too, although with the McDonald's closed for the Covid lockdown they can't get their usual diet (see photo from previous year). Playing field always seems popular, at the moment mostly with people socially distancing in the sun. A pleasure to have a bit of nature to walk around.

Great place for a walk or bite to eat. Good cafe and McDonald’s too, although this is often very busy and the drive through can have long queues at peak times. Plenty for kids to do, with a couple of play areas and a skateboard park. The main attracted though is Mill Pond itself with plent of wildlife and plent of benches around the pond to sit and relax as you watch the swans, ducks, geese etc..

Great parks for the children to play at , there are two separate parks one park near Mc Donald's the other is beyond the car park. There is a public gym equipment and a skate park. You can follow the path all the way around the pond , one side has fishing areas (wooden platforms ), on this side it is uneven with exposed routes. So caution should be taken by wheelchair users and children in pushchairs . There is an accessible toilet in the park area near the pirate ship, it requires a radar key. There is another accessible toilet inside Mc Donald's (as well as ladies and men's facilities) this is radar access also but staff are happy to open...

Found Mill park when I was looking for somewhere to walk the park and it certainly has good play facilities. The lake is huge and the walks around it are really nice. But….all the waste paper bins were full to overflowing. There was debris all over the car park because there was nowhere to put rubbish. The stream that feeds the lake was strewn with cartons, cans and rubbish. The area next to the cafe was the same. I saw that the park had been “refurbished” in 2008. What a shame it’s been left and neglected since. Maybe there is a volunteer opportunity here as I’m sure I can’t be the only person who thought that a lovely park was...
