Another one of Bradfords hidden treasures. This is such a beautiful place for a walk or run. It's not a place where I would take my kids for safety reasons. The dam walls are level with the trail or footpath, and there are no handrails around, so they could trip and fall in easily if left to run freely. It's more a place to escape for a while. Take in the fresh air and listen to the soothing sounds of the birds in the trees and the ducks in the water. The trail through the woods is a bit boggy in areas but good for the most part. It gets very narrow but provides fantastic views over looking the reservoir. Free parking is available at the entrance on Howarth Road. It really a...

After going on a few narrow paths heading up to the golf course there was loads of rubbish and fly tipping, some of which had been burnt! Dirty nappies, plastic clothes and furniture all dumped. I won't be doing this walk again and...

Visited on two consecutive sunny days. Free on street parking at one entrance and a proper but small car park off Howarth Road. Walking path around the two reservoirs including a woodland walk. Nice for a short stroll but place busy with noisy and disruptive gangs of boys. Doesn't make you feel safe. Saw people swimming in the...
