We had a lovely visit to the windmill. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful with the history of the building. For £2.50 it was a treat, you have to climb wooden stairs 4 or 5 floors and climb down backwards but easy to do. There were benches to sit on to go to the cafe for very reasonable priced food and drink with very polite staff. There are toilets there and a little walk to the miller's house is not far.

We took our granddaughter to see father Christmas and visit the windmill for the very first time. The volunteers who gave up there free time were fabulous and very proud of the windmill. It's certainly worth a visit there's a café with home made food and cakes. Children will love it .climbing up the stairs inside the mill .Beware the steps leeding up to each floor are quite steep so be warned .

Delightful. Homemade fare served on dainty Chinaware by very friendly and attractive ladies who were most obliging. Generous cafetiere off decaf filter coffee and gluten free cake enjoyed in clean and genteel surroundings added a touch of elegance to our day.

This is a great example of a community driven initiative to preserve a piece of our English heritage Whilst the Windmill cannot be restored to working condition due to structural issues, it has been carefully restored and offers an insight into how a mill was operated snd maintained The tea shop is also well worth a visit A great credit to all the enthusiastic volunteers who...
