Visited for the first time last night for the Cheese and Wine Tasting night. I went alone but was greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and a fabulous informative evening followed. John was very knowledgable and funny but without the hard sell. Great value for money and was able to purchase some fabulous quality wine. Tried to go for a drink today after a dog walk, the front door was still locked at 1.30pm despite there being one patron inside. Went around to the back door to be told pretty abruptly by the woman behind the bar that they aren’t dog friendly.
